Hey, don't worry about the canceling and all. I work in the West Texas oilfield, in the deepest red part of a red red state; I'm not sure we have any Muslims within two hundred miles... ...but I played this video for the boys at lunch, and they said: "Well kiss my grits, this Moslem feller makes a lotta sense!" 😂 This is the second YQ video I've played for my team & I swear, it's changing their minds about Islam just like it's slowly but surely been changing mine! Keep it up, mi hermano 👊

@@talharizvi4075 I'll be honest, I expected a bunch of "booo!" and "shut it off!", etc.-and there *was* a little of that at the start-but Dr. Qadhi is pretty blunt & clear, really easy to listen to, and we appreciate that 'round here... ...so gradually everyone ended up just eating & listening, and by the end when I left to go back to the office, I could hear them seriously discussing it behind me, haha. The general sentiment seemed to be "maybe these 'Islam people' are NOT our enemies? that guy sounded like he has his head on straight & values the same things we do..." (+ I also heard lot of comparison to what the media tells us about these same issues.) Last time, I had brought up the fact that-as I have learned from these videos!-Muslims DO NOT hate Christians, and in fact greatly respect Iesa/Jesus as one of the foremost among all of God's messengers. None of us had had any idea about this... we'd always heard the exact opposite! Combined with our nation's incomprehensible support for a faction that is actively attempting to genocide a Muslim populace in you-know-where (& which, by contrast, has *_0_* respect for Christians)... well, me and the boys have been seriously questioning a lot of stuff we used to believe. ...y'know, there's actually a mosque about 90 miles from here in a bigger city... I've been trying to convince some of them to go with me just to check it out, heh... 😅

It depends on how you define “feminism.” “Feminism” means the rights women should have as a human. Allover the world it’s the women who are mostly under-trodden.
@mohammadsahalshahid9141Ай бұрын
First-wave feminism was largely acceptable, but the current wave conflicts with many principles of Islam. Before discussing feminism, it's important to understand its origins and the negative impacts it can have. Many people speak about feminism without fully comprehending its history or purpose, often because they’ve been taught or influenced by their schools or communities without realizing it.
@ak_athariyyahАй бұрын
Brother and sister need to understand they should not be clashing with each other due to Western secular gender wars (feminism vs red pill). We are supposed to be role models for all of mankind due to always being upon the middle path not going to extremism or negligence. So in this regard we should adopt the language and behaviour of those non-Muslim intellectuals and lay-people between harsh traditional conservative masculinity/femininity and abandoning all traits of traditional conservative masculinity/femininity. We must be balanced. This happens by copying the masculinity and femininity of the righteous male and female figures in the Quran and Sunnah not figures pushed by Western popular culture on social media and TV. We are Muslims so we should not be clashing between brothers andd sisters regarding gender. However we must understand we are a team not two different sides against each other but one team needed to complement the other and cover the others physical, emotional and spiritual floors. By doing so we will join together in covering the other genders faults with what is best in the opposite gender to become a real team in action and words.

Education and career should be important for men and women both. What if the husband divorces her or she becomes a widow. It’s very risky for women to sacrifice their career. I stayed home to raise my children. But I encourage my daughter to have a career because I think it’s really risky not to do so. One of my cousins got divorced two years ago. Her ex husband divorced her and married another woman. Fortunately my cousin has a job. So she is surviving. What would have happened if she didn’t have a job!

It’s all about money green card and citizenship. It’s not easy to marry someone knowing they can take everything from you and leave you broke. It has happened to many men out there. I know marriage is half my deen but Getting married in America today is a risky business.

I normally agree with yasir qadhi and I know he doesn’t mean bad but this idea that having a career means a woman isn’t feminine is not true - a woman can be jobless with no career and still be masculine. It’s about character at the end of the day not your job or your age it’s qadr of Allah. Both genders should work on character and being compassionate and caring whilst on their journey getting closer to Allah 🤍
