Unpopular opinion: the first season of this show was everything. Hangin with Mr. Cooper could have been the Black three’s company with Mark Curry, Dawnn Lewis, and Holly Robinson. All three worked well. Also, the first season’s theme song sung by the incomparable En Vogue. PS: Holly Robinson had the best outfits. Fashion queen. Holly Robinson and Terri from En Vogue are damn near twins lol, similar face and everything, plus they’re Virgos.

Holly Robinson 😍was a smart cast addition as she was hot from 21 Jump Street fame. Same with Dawn Robinson😘who was hot from A Different World fame. Moving the show to TGIF made the show's producers want to add a family element to it thus Dawn was out and in was Raven and Sandra Quarterman. ABC did the final season of the series dirty especially with the unexpected hiatus between the end of season 4 (May 10, 1996) and the beginning of season 5 (June 21, 1997). En Vogue's season 1 theme song for the show was one of the dopest TV theme songs any TV show- bar none... Steve Harvey jacked Mark Curry's sitcom premise after his previous sitcom: Me And The Boys didn't catch on 🤦🏾♂.
