Please keep doing what you’re doing. I can only imagine how challenging it is to post KZbin and see so many patients but you are helping so many people. You have already helped me so much just watching your videos to heal my scars. I’ve done a package of micro needling and you are saving me thousands of dollars and grief. I am now officially done with med spas and only going to doctors or nurses for any medical aesthetics. You are creating a movement of accountability in this space which is so important because people have real valid issues with our skin and we need proper care. I think any aesthetics is not taken seriously but if you have acne scars that in my opinion is a medical issue

Sadly some of the docs on KZbin don’t like lasers and say it is a waste of money is only because they are trying to get us to do a face lift with them or buy their products 🤦♀️ some of us don’t want surgery

The derm didn't do under my eyes and I was hoping he would after what you've said. On my cheeks, the 3rd pass of Fraxel was unbearable, I think they didn't use enough numbing cream there. I'm a man, and I went to my local dermatologist for persistent redness, and ended up signing up for three IPL treatments. On the last one, (Friday), the dermatologist gave me a burn that by time I got home was blistered and weeping. On Monday I went back over there very concerned. She came out and said well she must have went over the same spot too many times. If you've never had an IPL session before, they don't keep the "gun" in a constant movement, it's placed against your skin on one spot and they pull the trigger and zap that spot. Then move to another spot and repeat. She gave me some steroid and anti-biotic creams, and I asked her if I was going to get a scar. She didn't think so, but I sure did get scarred. And now, a year later, I have a permanent dime sized scar on my left cheek with a blotch of redness right next to it. We depend on professionals not to do things like going over the same spot "too many times". At the same time, I also got two smaller burns on my left temple that left tiny scars, and took a long time to fade. These scars you can barely see, but the one on my left cheek is very visible. When you're dealing with the skin on somebodies face, you can not make mistakes like this. It was a bad experience for me, and I wouldn't recommend IPL to anybody.

What a shame this happened to you. I hope you got a full refund in addition to any medical expenses for damages you incurred as a result. As mentioned in this video experience is critical. Take care🙏

@@mariamerriman3145 This is why they have you sign a disclaimer before the procedure. They know accidents will happen and they need to protect themselves. I signed one right before the third procedure, and he also took a bunch of pictures. I don't desire to have any contact her (her title is Nurse Practitioner). I discovered myself the solution for my redness and blotchiness I was going through. It's Niacinamide 5%....it's been a miracle for me, too bad I discovered it too late to prevent my scarring.

@Dr Kappel -- Can you offer some advice here please. I really value your opinion. I just had a consultation with a laser expert here in the UK for undereye laxity and deep wrinkles. After examination it is determined I have thick skin undereye and excess skin. CO2 fully ablative is one option for me ( and most effective) but because I have thick skin more energy is required and this may or may not cause demarcation lines. In your clinical experience what is the risk percentage wise of getting demarcation lines with someone who has thick skin? My other option is: tiny micro dose of Botox and 3 sessions every 8 weeks of Laser Coring using "softwave" but I was told it's not as effective as fully ablative CO2 .

What is your opinion or advice, being a doctor I trust you and since you perform all of these procedures in your clinic, what’s your advice?
