Placebo effect probably, If you've ate the sme products previously but not farmed organically there was basically no difference other thn pesticides and fungicides. Thing is that while you may eat less of those substances organic food carries significantly higher risk of being infected with dangerous fungi or some other microbe/insect. Idk. about pesticide and fungicide norms in US but here in EU it was proved multiple times that EKO/Organic food may not be actually healthier as fungal infection is usually way harder to treat than fungicide poisoning (which almost never happen anyway) so it seems that instead of being hard anti-pesticide and anti-fungicide activist you should actually try to influence theese norms to force farmers and pesticide producers to use safer substances instead.

There’s much more crap than heavy metals in baby food - make your own if you can! I bought organic vegetables from farmers markets, the you just have to boil the veggies til they’re soft and put them (with a little of the water from boiling) in the blender. I often mixed more bitter veggies with a small amount of banana or apple to add a bit of sweetness, and make it more palatable to my little one. Definitely worth the effort 👍

Some brands have lower amounts of lead and cadmium and hence are better choices. Such as some dark chocolate products from: Ghirardelli, Mast, Taza and Valrhona (Abinao 85%). These are not easy to get in the UK though, apart from the latter. Not sure about Hu or Montezuma. However, both have published details stating that the levels in their products are acceptable according to EU standards - yet those levels are still very high. The bog standard dark chocolates in the large supermarket chains may have larger amounts. The CR stated that cacao sourced from West Africa and Asia - had less amounts of lead and cadmium than South America due to the soil in Africa and Asia having less deposits of lead and cadmium.

I want to share our traditional Cambodian diet for breastfeeding mothers. This diet has been successfully tested in South Africa as well. It involves consuming Moringa Leaves as a vegetable, soup, or tea. Moringa leaves are rich in nutrients and stimulate healthy breast milk production. If you live in a warm climate, you can easily grow them in your yard. I don't recommend using Moringa powder or pills due to the potential presence of heavy metals. If you have access to Asian groceries, you can usually find Moringa leaves in the vegetable section as it is a common part of our daily diet.

Pop your own using certified organic Popcorn Kernels and certified organic Coconut Oil and that should take care if it. And it may have been a sign that you're low in Omega 3 fatty acids and were more sensitive to the Omega 6 oils in the Popcorn. ❤☮🌎

While all the things she said in her videos may be true, but these dangers is a price for living in todays society. For example, have you thought about the toxicity of the air (especially in cities) that you breathe 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for as long as you live? So, use common sense without being paranoid and enjoy life. Unless you want to relocate to a cave in Antarctica. And even then, you will be confronted with another set of problems that may kill you which will be good subjects for future videos.

My ALT (liver enzymes) goes up if I'm getting cadmium or other heavy metals in my diet. Apart from that, I'm very sensitive physically and will notice if I consume non-organic food - even if I thought the food WAS organic. I found that out when I accidently picked up a case of non-organic clementines that was next to a stack of organic clementines. When I ate one, I got a headache and realized my error when I looked on the label on the box.

Organic food includes grassfed meat, and was eaten for hundreds of thousands of years, so your gut was designed for eating organic meat, in those times there was no need for calling it organic, it was just meat, plants naturally contain toxic elements, as they try not to be eaten, and can not escape like animals.
