This is actually a really good question? Where our food is coming from? After watching your vlog, now you got me thinking, what am I actually eating and where from. Well done for making the effort to go and learn more about the food from that organic farm. Very educational vlog. Thank you and looking forward to seeing another educational vlog ;) :)

Very interesting. I am very glad you went to a local farm. I live and grew up in rural Iowa, USA. I am 48 and have seen a major change in our farms. 1st there are very few actual "Family Farms" amymore. Before the Farm Crisis in the 1980s most farms were true family farms between 90 to 250 acres. Most produced a variety of goods while still specializing in corn and soy beans. During the Farm Crisis tens of thousands Family Farms were lost. This was due to a number of factors, which I will not write about at this time. This led to corporations buying up the farmland and mostly specializing in corn and soybean production. These corporate farms can be Thousands to Hundreds of Thousands of a acres. One of the major reasons this happened was that agriculture became one of the first global products. Our farms no longer were looked at to feed their communities, states, or even this country; but the entire world. Yes chemical pesticides have been overused during this time, but always remember the reason was to produce the most product possible on an acre of land. I have seen an increase in the last decade of acreages. These are small farm and living areas of 2 to 50 acres or so. Some people have returned to more traditional production of our food products that can be sold locally. Now remember there is a tradeoff. Organic or near organic foods have a much shorter shelf span and can not be shipped around the world. I am glad you are showing interest in where your food is coming from. I would like to see more people take this type of interest. I hope you show some more videos dealing with this. I would encourage you to visit different types of farms. I would also encourage you to visit and speak with an agriculture based University program and its professors and students. Mabuhay!

you’re so passionate that I hope you put up a million dollar organic farm that will become the pioneer and will decimate synthetic and chemical aided produce. We cannot blame people tho because organic farming is unreliable and cost ineffective that locals wouldn’t be able to eat local produce at the price we have now. But still, someday we all wish for the best

I lived in Batangas specifically in San Jose almost half of my life. The town is known as the Egg Basket of the Philippines producing, I think, more than half of the eggs we consume here in the Metro. I remember as a kid, I, together with my cousings, used to pick and collect them still warm straight from the chicken's cages, very early in the morning in the poultry of my aunt. We are also huge producers of other meats like pork, beef, and, of course, chicken. Most of the pigs and chickens are fed with both grass and other plants and locally-made feeds but mostly feeds. Pero the cows and goats are all grass-fed, never saw one being fed with feeds. Our province also produce seafoods but my town is landlocked and we just get our supply from Mabini or Batangas City so I am in no position to discuss it pero a friend from Mabini told me most of them are caught using lambats or fish nets. Hope these info help. :)

Thanks for promoting the organic farms, and for people who can't afford naman to buy organic, like what Haley said babad the veggies with baking soda or suka. Suka might be cheaper there in Pinas. Thanks again Haley! Been wondering also where the veggies and produce came from in the market.

Matt She literally has vid after vid about being authentic, and even has a vid that went viral because she exposed a scammer . What are you even on about? You’ve never heard of the popular vloggers that are linked to her channel? Not everyone watches every vid on channels they sub to, and her vids have their own niche tone and interest. What’s not to sub? And she has vids that hit 2- 4x the views than the number of subs she has now. You just open with a false premise then conclude as if it’s a fact. This was such a great vid too.

The first person i heard talking about the importance of having organic food was from a korean producer J.Y. Park and from him to your vid, i'm so impressed that a vlogger with a Filipino blood like you is talking more about this topic. Food is really important. Anything we chew, our body reacts to it and so eating fresh or organic food is a must as long as we can have it at our own convinience. I'm living from batangas near Taal and i must say although i'm living in a province, eating organic meat or fish is quite expensive and hard to find since most meat/fish produce came from farms who use pesticides/insecticides. In fruits and veggies however, we used to farm on our own backyard with eggplants, malunggay, patani, calabasa, mangoed, star apple and others organically.

Lots of organic produce here in Colorado. We usually buy a whole cow from a farm near the mountains. That’s our food protein we ate for a year. Veggies and fruits all from local farmers market. We cheat once in a while to get organic food at Costco. After being sick, we noticed the difference of eating home cooked meal vs eating out. Body and soul food. Clean food. Thanks for showing the organic farm restaurant! Can’t wait to visit the Philippines soon! We miss our second home.
