@@rickwilliams967I think it's difficult because it takes more writing talent and timing skill to deliver a joke without obscenity. You actually have to have a joke stand as funny on its own without putting condiments all over it when you're clean. Seinfeld is another legend although later on he added some cussing. As a reference point, he wasn't as funny later on as a result. Adding a bunch of vulgarity just comes across as angry rather than funny.

I’m from Southern California so I’m no stranger to heat by any means. But August 2020 I went to Phoenix, Arizona and I had a therapy appointment so I just decided to do my call outside because my friend was inside. I’ve been to Arizona several times in my life so I was like whatever, no big deal, I can handle it. Biggest mistake of my LIFE. It was then that I truly learned what people mean when they say “oppressive heat”. It was unbearable. I couldn’t breathe it was so obscenely hot. I’ve been to Vegas in the summer, and it was worse than that. There was no relief. It was thick, heavy, suffocating. It was the most god awful experience. People don’t go outside in Arizona in August lol. Not until like 11 pm. Because even at 9 pm when we took the dog out for a walk, it was still heinous. Arizona is truly a mistake. Nobody should live there south of Flagstaff.
@ggartendo64 Жыл бұрын
So basically vegas heat has 3 stages, low 90s are fine you don't notice how uncomfortable you are until like 15 to 25 minutes in 95 to 104. It's noticeably uncomfortable outside but you can bare it you last about 5 to 10 minutes outside before you are looking for indoors. 105 to 115 its nearly unbearable you can not make it a minute outside before you are looking for shade, death or ac. Any north of 110 really and it's like 30 max you can last. It actually gets so hot that the sweet feels like it evaporating off you body, you will die if you aren't wearing clothes to cover your body and have water near by. I could literally feel my brain cells dying in my head being in the sun. People talk about the dry heat like it's fine just go to the shade, it's better than hot humidity and fair play. I hate the humidity, but what they fail to realize is unless you're on the strip there are very many place where there is shade. Lol you can get heat exhaust or a heat stroke very quick if you're not careful. Most las vegas don't even go outside. And don't even try to walk bare foot. Don't forget to put your shades up in your car, don't keep any lose change on your seat, you will get branded. It's been so hot that even concrete payment in the shade burns. And the asfault will start to melt. I had a buddy of mine's car break down with a flat tire on the freeway and he went to use his car jack to put the dummy tire on and the asfault melt and his jack got stuck, we had to wait for a police car to come by with an industrial jack to change the tire.
