Me too, but l like how the absence of swearing gave the material a wholly different feeling. It’s as if swearing is an adrenaline inducing chemical; when the lines are punctuated by the f-word, mania ensues. I loved this set. I love the delivery and sarcasm. My (ex) husband and I babysat for my friend's twin boys, age 11 months 3 weeks. We had them 4 nights. We put plastic plugs in every single outlet but one. The parents were at the end of the block when I heard my husband say, "Stop! Don't do that! Why?" and sure enough, one of the boys had crawled into my office, under my desk and put his tongue in the one exposed outlet. The parents were not more than a minute away when that happened. We had white tile floors and carpet. After the first feeding, the kitchen floor was orange and green, and the walls, too, so I brought them to their house for meals while I fed their dogs dogs. When the boys were done eating, the dogs cleaned them off and I hosed them down. It was the longest 108 hours ever. Straight out of a sitcom. Black sharpie markers on the walls, comforter, carpet, blinds... Kind of like that scene from "Raising Arizona" when the kid's wreak havoc on the trailer, but age 11 months and three weeks. Two weeks later, my husband got a vasectomy. We were cat people, not parents. Earlier we were banned from hosting high school exchange students again because my ex sent a 13 y.o boy to the airport wrapped like a mummy (seriously, like Halloween) from severe sunburn. He didn't check that a pale German boy had applied appropriate sunscreen for a day of innertubing down the river in Arizona during the summer. First host family to ever test out the health insurance policy.
