Any team that doesn't understand that you have to fire doc Rivers is making a huge mistake. They have the same team similar injuries before that and they had a winning 😊record. But some reason people are blind with this man. It's like he does some Hocus pocus magical s*** on people's mind

Team is filled with a bunch of old dudes who aren't interested in playing defense. Dame is a horrific defender and you can't pair him next to a slow footed guy like Brook Lopez. If you're keeping Dame you have to surround him with quick athletic defenders who make up for his mistakes. This means getting rid of Lopez, Middleton, Portis and Connaughton at minimum.

I said this all last season. Everyone keeps focusing on Dame and Giannis, and now both are dropping 30+ bombs and they’re still losing, because I knew that wasn’t the problem. The problem is too many fans WANT the Bucks to be championship contenders, and none of them want to admit the Bucks just had a lucky finals run when they won it all. So we keep overhyping players like Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, etc. when the truth is those players are medicore at best and no serious contender would want ANY player on the Bucs roster starting on their team except Dame and Giannis and this isn’t the early 2000s of the 90s anymore where the skill gap between role played and stars is so big that 2 stars can carry a team go championships with a roster full of mediocre players The average NBA player is so much more talented now and because of that all 5-6 players that will see the floor have to be competent

If you are an nba superstar, being coached by doc is the best way for people to see all your weaknesses. Doc himself will say them out loud as soon as your team fails, he changes team, and will throw you under the bus.

you've probably confirmed /strengthened my belief that Khris is the key. The Khris/Giannis lineup and the Brook/Dame line up cover a lot of ground and allow two ball-dominant players to be able to be on the ball. Then any together chemistry Giannis and dame can figure out is almost like gravy on top.

Back court defense is one of the biggest problem they have. Dame can't defend and too small to guard other position when switch. They should have paired Dame with guys like Caruso's level to balance it out, instead they got Trent Jr. who is a bad defender as well.

Reminds me of Mike Dunleavy. You could argue Dunleavy is a little bit better. We keep saying, “he cannot get away with this”. I heard people say Doc was done coaching in 2003 after he blew the lead. Yes, he can and he will get away with this. He has proven it his whole career. Firing him now means nothing. He is headed to retirement with a ton of money.

He’s used to playing a solo style of basketball. Bringing in even a great role player for Dame is new to him. He’s been a pack mule his entire career.

If that is Milwaukee's defensive plan, they are cooked. The lineup Doc is using is awful, too much size and not enough speed/quickness. If it were me, I'd start Delon Wright, Lillard, Connaughton (if healthy)/Trent Jr., Giannis, Lopez/Portis (inside versus perimeter defense). Wright would be the PG and primary ball handler, putting Lillard into the SG spot. This would have the benefit of forcing teams to track the ball (in Wright's hands) and two scoring superstars (Giannis and Lillard), which splits a defense thin. Wright is also a good defensive guard who does a bit of everything except for scoring well (very hot/cold). But in this lineup, especially once Middleton is back, his role isn't to score...it's to handle the ball, let Lillard move off-ball and defend. This allow Delon Wright to play the Klay Thompson to Lillard's Steph Curry, being the guy who takes the tough assignments, is ready to run back in transition, etc. and let Dame focus on scoring. This gives a good mix of size (the SF position is very fluid) and quickness. It creates more off-ball movement, which is critical to scoring efficiently at a high level. And Delon Wright has had a weird career where he's shown flashes of being a very good player when thrust into a bigger role. Certainly more so than Taureen Prince. To me, feels like more of Doc being Doc.
