Just because enough dudes say it’s okay doesn’t change the fact these women said it first and actively pushing the narrative that yes women did x first but then men said okay is actively working against those who deserve to be championed so I do not participate in the women found it and men made it cool. No women found it and when they did that’s when it was cool. I mean, why do we even devalue a teenager's love for music? Why is a teenager's love for something considered worth less than an adult's love for something? It's both love even if it looks different. And teenagers may not share your age, but they are humans just like everyone else. They are not worth less and yet we put them down them like this.

Because of apathy and being jaded. A big ethos I have is never forget what age you were. But as many adults do all the time they forget what it meant to be x age so when a teenager says something or a child they instantly devalue the opinion. Doing so is reductive and stupid. This also happens as our global society is built on capitalism. If you don’t have a financial input your verbal input is devalued. So kids and teens with no money might as well be ghost. Was able to attend their recent concert in Busan. Though tickets were 'free' since it was used as promotion to help South Korea's government bid to organize World Expo 2030, ARMY paid for own expenses like flights, hotels, merchandise, etc... They did have the BoraFestival (set up by HYBE / BTS with the city iteself) for the town where Vegas basically spent 2 weeks celebrating ARMY and having restaurants serve korean foods, stores and some hotels had discounts, the boys favourite foods were being served under specials and in the hotels they had free gifts that were bts themed. He missed the point that the issue is misogyny and ageism, not saying who the trendsetters are. We *know* women are the most powerful trendsetters. The reality is that those trends aren't considered worthy until men give them recognition. Since he doesn't have to deal with that treatment every day, maybe it just didn't occur to him. I'm just waiting to see if he believes it exists. There are a lot of people who say misogyny isn't real and women are just trying to play the victim. @@Jurnalist_ BTS have never done meet & greets related to concerts (to the best of my knowledge). However, BTS used to host fan-signs that lucky armys would win by lottery raffle. You had to have an army membership and could submit your name for a chance to attend an event if you bought their album (from korea) that they were promoting at the time of the event (this did not apply to albums purchased from the US market because that would be considered bundling). It was open to armys all over the world, but the fan-signs themselves where in Korea. A fan-sign included being in the room with the guys who would sit at the front of the room behind a long table. You’d waiting in line for your turn, and had an opportunity to chat with each member while they signed a page in a copy of your album. Armys often would bring letters & gifts to the members too. There’s tons of footage of these interactions online. BTS haven’t done a fan-sign since the album Map of the Soul: Persona (released April 2019). This is because when Map of the Soul 7 released (Feb 2020), covid hit and government restrictions prevent such gatherings. Restrictions have lighten up since mid-2022, but that’s when the group started their Chapter 2.

I don’t consider BTS as just K-pop. I consider them as music artists who do many genres. I think the western music industry wants them and tries very hard to keep them in the K-pop niche so that they can keep them out of the major categories in award shows and to politic them to be remained them in the K-pop category. Let’s face it racism has always existed and how the industry worked that out is to create other categories like r&b, latin, and now K-pop. In my opinion they create certain categories to keep people out rather than giving recognition, acceptance and inclusion. My interpretation of what she said about the Beatles is that they didn’t get the critical acclaim until men started liking them. The Beatles craze started with screaming teenage girls but got legit when men begin to appreciate their music. Hedy Lamar helped the US government create the sonar system during WWII.

Behind the scenes they prepare just as long and hard for the literal "concert experience" as the guys prepare for their performances on stage. Cities know that when BTS come to their town it's gonna be MASSIVE. The company set up "popup" merchandise stores throughout the city in addition to the merch trailers at the venue, small, temporary BTS museums that display their history, etc. Cities light their buildings in purple at night, clubs have BTS night, hotels have special BTS themed rooms in addition to their normal room rentals, restaurants around the venue add Korean cuisine to their menus during this time. Las Vegas renamed their city "Borahegas" for those few days. It is an ENTIRE BTS concert experience. It is fantastic and insane (in a good way) all at the same time. If you were not lucky enough to snag tickets to the stadium, you can (for a cheaper price) get tickets to a nearby arena or large theatre where the concert is broadcasted live or buy online live stream concert tickets. As an OG BTS ARMY I can tell you that we fought against the K-pop stigma for years. I think we had just about won the war in 2018 and 2019. You didn’t see them referred to as K-pop as much in the global media. October 2018 was when all of the K-poppies banded together and kicked us out of Kpop because they were jealous which was great bc that’s what we wanted . That was when we decided to form our own country and call it Namkanda with Namjoon as our President. Things changed with the pandemic and the huge influx of fans who had not been around long and who embraced the K-pop label. There are a lot of new BTS fans who have taken the time to learn the history and know the music but many just wanted to jump on the bandwagon of the biggest group in the world. They like fighting other fans and being obnoxious but they don’t know anything about what BTS stands for. Because they don’t know the difference between artists who write their own music and work for years shedding blood sweat and tears over it and KpOp which is manufactured for the most part and whose artists only pretend to write lyrics. Anyway it’s hard for long time BTS fans because Hybe was in the past few years built on the talent of BTS and the hard work of ARMY. The new corporation that was built now has it as its mission to spread K-pop around the world. So even though BTS is the farthest thing in the world from K-pop we may be stuck with the label. There are so many great Korean artists like the ones on RM’s album Indigo who are not K-pop. I don’t know which is more corrupt, Kpop or the US music industry. I only know that BTS is honest and it makes for a difficult but also exhilarating journey.

Ll cool j the Beatles Drake. The stones Led Zeppelin. Any band or artist with meaningful or massive success never have a majority of a male fan base. Do we live in a patriarchy sure. But those ruling men still want and need women. So again why men wear beards or listen to certain artist is due to the strong and magnetic influence of these women. Women will pick a thing and then men will act like they found it all on their own. It’s a documented fact throughout history but also in music. Why women pick what they do is very hard for me as a man to pin down but from my experience plus what I’ve gleamed from music research. The women make and or break you when it comes to selection and or destruction I.E cancel Culture. Despite being a patriarchal society these efforts are in my opinion always lead by women and bolstered by men’s participation. So women make you famous and can take it away and the faster both of these happen is the participation of men but that participation is secondary to the selection women have already made.

All this time, women and girls are disparaged as silly, hormonal beings who can't look at things with any discernment or objectivity, and certainly not as curators of excellence bringing things to men's attention. @@ma-px1nb Not saying it negates it but I also will not or choose not to play into those narratives and rigid frames of thinking. But the rest of men only started rocking with bro after every time you wanted to link a bird she was playing his music and was not listening to no one else. again playing into women found it first and its a girl thing but now I've heard it enough I like it. I agree his perspective was male but he came out with that perspective when men as a whole were not being that open with how we feel. Drake pushed that tide and now king toxic (Future) is able to do what he does in his love songs. Beer was healthier and women mixed personal recips than. It's actually very interesting the history of different stuff.

They are mostly considered a pop act but it's very recent. Their performance at the 2022 Grammys, which I recommend for you to watch, left a deep impression on the industry, and after that, we could feel a certain shift with even the Grammys themselves. Grammys x BTS is really a story that dates back since 2018, and every year this institution found a way to snub them, including in 2022, but after their performance, I wouldn't say the Grammys accept them but definitely there is a change, as they are now considered more of a pop act than a k-pop act. BTS went from one Grammy nomination per year to suddenly 3 nominations for the 2023 Grammys. Indigo is such a Grammy worthy album, but after 2022, BTS kind of gave up and didn't expect much from the Grammys, so J-Hope didn't even bother to submit his album, especially since you have to kiss asses to be considered and BTS isn't inclined to do that, but since they were nominated 3 times for the 2023 Grammys out of nowhere, I hope Namjoon will attempt to submit his work this year for the 2024 Grammys for hip-hop category, or even R&B because his album is deserving but I don't know if he will. Also, the others are going to release their albums too, I have no doubt it will be good, and I hope they give it a go for the Grammys, I just wonder what genre they will go for. So overall, BTS is an act more consider pop than k-pop but it's only very recent.

RM: As kpop is becoming bigger we should have some debates. What is Kpop? For our “Dynamite,” we sang the whole lyrics for the first time in English and that hit number one (Billboard). So some might say that this is not Kpop because you guys all sang in English. But what’s Kpop? We just don’t want to limit this music or our hearts to this boundary called “Kpop.” for a lot of kpop groups being associated with kpop wave can be profiting cuz it gives them exposure at this point in the career of bts though this label only restricts them and is used as a way to limit their reach. it's a categorization based solely on the nationality. even bts' english songs whiten by western people will be put in kpop playlists only or nominated for kpop categories only look, a simple example. My Universe is collab song Coldplay x BTS. and i heard that Coldplay were writing this song just for BTS but then they all collectively decided to make it a collaboration. and just think about it that way: if it had been sung just by BTS it'd have been categorized as k-pop. but now that it's a collab, it falls under pop or alternative lol

Their solo albums as well as earlier albums have done tallies on R&B and rap charts. But western award commitees tend to stick them only in the Group or Kpop categories. K-pop categories were created when BTS started to win the Western awards to keep BTS out of the major categories. That's why their win for Artist of the year at last year's AMAs was such a huge deal, it was the first time they were recognized along side the other big players. For the Grammy's they can submit for those categories, but they may get push back from others who don't want to see them that way.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for your serious approach to BTS and ARMY. Some of the other male reactors are less than respectful and are somewhat transparent about it. I got interested in BTS completely by accident. I was looking for Charlie Puths song We Don’t Talk Anymore and found Jimin and Jungkooks cover and was blown away and as ARMY says I fell down the rabbit hole. I love their music, their messages, their dedication to performance but I won’t lie I am 55, married but I have 2 working eyes and THEY FINE! I’m old not dead. There are segments of the fandom that will balk at any sexualization of BTS but seriously they are grown men and they do sexualize themselves in video…..not to the degree of American artists but they’re not saints either. I have a problem with younger fans that think just because I’m older I should not have the same thoughts and feeling about them that a 20 year old has. We all get older but we don’t stop being who we are. The light stick known as an Army Bomb costs about 55.00 US each. BigHit and Hybe are masters at merchandising everything. I saw them at their last Las Vegas concert in April and I went alone. The whole trip including transportation, food, hotel and oh yes lots of merch cost me a little under 4,000.00US. There are many Army I know that spend far more than I do to support them. There are many who have gone to Korea to see them in concert. People are learning Korean while BTS does their military service to understand them better. Army is very dedicated. This will sound completely stupid but BTS reminds me of the movie Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure. At the end of the movie Bill and Teds band transcends everything and heals the world and makes society better. In a way that’s what BTS feels like. They are leaving the place better than they found it. Please keep up the good work.

Ty for this comment especially. “ I have two working eyes and THEY FINE. I’m old not dead.” Only change I would make. You are seasoned with life that doesn’t mean you don’t know god when you see it. I agree though age is not a excluder for attraction or participation. This is a thing again as a man my sexual agency is allowed to like younger women who are of age. Yet older women doing it are seen even more so as predators than men are. This is a dichotomy I don not participate in especially after having a daughter I was rudely awakened to all the things I can do as a man that women are demonized for. Excuse me 4k? Lord Jesus on high please help me cultivate a support of myself and music that would garner me such favor that someone would buy 4k or more of my Merch and or tickets. That’s a support I only seen for those mid life crisis men who go to rock and roll camps for adults at like 50+ S/O to you for not caring about outside thought and supporting and enjoying what’s you enjoy damn if they get you or not. Plus the community of BTS fans is one of if not the best fans I’ve ever seen. I literally was talking to my friend about how great you all are.

First of all want to start with, I'm a 44 years old Mexican woman, living in Texas, so with that out of the way 😅. For me it was hilarious when you said "I strongly disagree " and start to say your thoughts and at the end of the day, your reasoning was almost the same at what she was referring to. And I been meaning to respond about what you said about the "European "football? I strongly disagree with you on that. Let's talk about high school/college American football, and how borderline and sometimes really abusive the "couch "are. Just a few months ago my daughter (who is a band member in her high school) was recounting how a couch from another high school was telling his kids how stupid and incompetent they were and how they should have to crush my daughter high school team because "they are a bunch of immigrants kids ",and yes there were parents of those kids with in their group and not one of those parents stop him or say anything against him, and of course just remember how college use their athletes to make money (remember also how a few years back a couch was accused and indicted on abuse and the college had been hiding it for years? ). And one of the most recent ones about Gymnastics and all this doctors, couches and organizer who not only were seaczauli abusing this athletes from the time they were really young, but also were telling them that if they say something or tell someone they would not be able to keep on competing and they're parents would lose their job and money. So yeah while football is taken really seriously all over the world and some times (a lot of times) fans and organizations are obnoxiously serious and borderline abusive about training and looking for the next Messi, American football is the same way (and to be honest, lots of other American sports also)and have the same aspects to it.(don't forget they start training at 4 years old and spend thousands of dollars on it). I really enjoyed your videos, I just found your channel last week, I like that you really pay attention and have inside knowledge of the entertainment industry. You good, keep going. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇲🇽🤟

Actually you found BTS at the time you were supposed to. There is a saying in the fandom that BTS finds you when you need them. Someone correct me if I didn't say it right. I became an ARMY late 2019. I think if I found BTS earlier, my concentration in school would have been low lol! I went back for a second degree and a new/additional career and I'm a 54 year old ARMY. As for the light sticks (ARMY Bombs), you can order them through Weverse or get them at a concert. There might be other places too. I think I paid around $65. I got one attending their Las Vegas concert, which was a blast and I met some really wonderful people and I went by myself, because they were sold out on Weverse. I have listened to other kpop groups and like most of what I hear. I think some of the music sounds the same to me because, at least for the male groups, they choose all tenors for the vocalists I believe, so to me there is no diversity to how they sound. I also tend listen to other kpop groups where I know they write their own music such as Seventeen, Stray Kids and Mamamoo because their voices are out of this world. I like BlackPink too even though I'm not sure how much they write or produce. My ultimate favorite whom I love like my family is BTS. BTS is their own genre to be honest because they are not afraid to try different things and come out of their comfort zone. I'm so glad you found out about them and I always enjoy watching reaction channels when they first experience BTS because they can experience the joy and connection I feel. BTS are the first musical artists I have ever felt this way about. I have had crushes and favorites in music, like Rick James and Prince and for hip Hop/Rap I have many artists I like: Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Kool Moe D, Heavy D, Run DMC, Public Enemy, LL Cool J, A Tribe called Quest, Whodini, Salt and Pepa, Queen Latifah, Eric B and Rakim, Big Daddy Kane (Too many to name and Yeah, I'm going way back LOL!) I'm sorry I got long winded with my writing and usually don't comment on too many channels but I really enjoy your channel and your knowledge, respect and passion for good music. Thanks again for the great reaction. Enjoy your day.💜

Here is the challenge with a Meet and Greet today. Those people would all have to go through a serious security background check. What you dont know. BTS has been living with death threats from the beginning. They still have to deal with haters. Haters who spread horrible disrespectful rumors. Those haters could possibly pass a security background check and "Get In" and be near them and cause big problems! When they leave and arrive at airports they are completely surrounded by body guards. Their vehicle is surrounded by body guards. The fans and paparazzi swarm them ! I think there should be a law for all Celebrities you CAN'T be within 25 feet of them at airports. Its so dangerous. You can watch. There are live watch cameras waiting for them for hours. The body guards have to push all fans and media trying to touch them and get their cameras in their face. Sometimes...I think it happened at L.A. they had to leave through a private exit. It got that bad! Luckily, they get to meet their celebrity fans at award shows. And they get to meet the celebrities they want to. And they do meet and greet with celebrities and their families before and after concerts. They enjoy that. I promise you they won't have Meet and Greets ever again! They can't go shopping. VERY RARELY. JK sang for the opening of the FIFA games. He shopped at a mall in Dubai surrounded by his staff and under cover security so it didn't look so obvious. The store has to know ahead of time because the store has to be cleared of everyone so he could shop without being swarmed. But here is something cute. Two little girls wandered up to the front door of the store. JK saw them and talked to them and allowed them to be in a picture with him.

2 things. I suggested 2 songs to you before I heard your plan. Enjoy your Rap First journey. I never really liked rap until I heard BTS rap. I appreciated the talent and art, but it seemed the ones I heard were not lyrical and didn't change cadences. Do you know this? The rappers and singers sing and dance together. They incorporate rap into almost all their songs and performances. They do have some vocals only and solos. But every concert and MV and live performance has rap entertwined into most all the songs. That's why I like BTS's rap. It's so creative and conceptually designed into their songs. And every rap has its own rhythm and cadence and artful expression. It's Masterful! 2. A fun thing. Funmation...who used to do Goku's show and voice acting moved from Canada to Dallas,TX. I think they did start in Japan. Anyway, they advertised for open auditions. I went and actually auditioned for Goku's character and a female character. The first audition was in the sound booth. I passed that. Then I got to audition with other people doing live readings for the director. But I didn't go on. But still it was so cool to audition for that show. Do you know they make as much money as real actors sometimes even more because of residuals. Cartoons get played over and over. They get paid each time it airs. That's all. Journey on. Except that I stayed up late listening to your reactions and it actually saved my life. Someday I'll explain.

Do you want to audition for the group??? Start practicing NOW!!!

I’m an old man despite my youthful face. 😭😭 I would work with a entertainment company but I wouldn’t like to do the group thing. I used to dance and very well. Then I was hit by a car and now my knee and lower leg and femur have titanium additions that don’t allow the same range of motion so even if I wanted to do a hybe try out. I don’t bring enough auxiliary options. I rap and can sing a Little bit. With training my singing voice would be more like soul singers from the sixties like Leon bridges if you know him. I’m currently training my voice to sing more as I do a lot of writing for singing but can’t do those parts due to my voice not being strong enough to achieve what I’ve written and hear in my head. Currently my musical goals are independence and sustainable living. Past that I’ve matured to a place where the smoke and mirrors of superstardom no longer pull on my heart as they used to. Now i just want loyal supporters like BTS and to make music that impacts people and the ability to financially only make meaningful music and not have to sit at some desk job. They song snippet I shared in my shorts today or very much saying all of that.
@ideagirl Жыл бұрын
@Jurnalist Good for you not to want to sit behind a desk. Yes. Pursue your dreams. You don't come off as an old man. So. To inspire you to go for the Gold. Not the illusive kind. The real inner gold. Watch this MV. Just by yourself. No reaction for us. One reason BTS is so amazing they really are inspiring. Their lyrics are inspiring. Watch their MV "Stay Gold". A little about me. I never finished college the first time around. But luckily I was able to get some great corporate jobs. But I did sit behind the desk. Without going into detail after 9 11 because of some jobs drying up. I moved back home. Joliet, IL near Chicago. And I found out I could get disability because I of my Clinical Depression. Luckily I had found a great doctor. Got on meds. Got therapy. Then I was fine. Went back to work. Could cope. But back at home a past dream of mine came back alive. I decided I want to go back to college and finish my degree I never finished a long time ago. With my disability Funds and student loans I went back to college at age 50. And I loved it. The first class I was required to take was Adult Learning Theory. As adults we learn differently. And I applied what I learned and got straight A'a except one math class. I graduated with a degree in English, Communication, and Theatre. I was able to pursue my love of acting. And I got to be in the Musicals. Interesting enough i discovered I excel at directing. The theatre had great classes to inspire me. The young kids I went to college with very accepting and loving. I became a mentor to all of them. Giving advice and sharing life lessons when they asked me. When I found BTS my creative "juices" started in again. I consider myself Army Plus. I would like to work for Hybe. And since they are here in the states now. You never know. I can tell you are ambitious, yet humble. You've discovered what is important in life. And are now enjoying that life. I have no doubt that accident changed your life and perspective. Don't let that titanium hold you back. I have titanium too. Both knees replaced. Successful Spinal stenosis surgery. I still dance. And choreograph. When I hear music I see the choreography in my mind. And when I hear music in the grocery store I dance down the aisle...to the embarrassment of my family. Actuslly they understand. They are all musical theatre people too. I want to share some reactors I love and follow. I think you would like them too. You don't know this but some reactors become friends. Invite each other to their live streams. One reactor interviews other reactors. I will tell him about you. His name is John Reeves. He is a Rock musician who accidentally found BTS. The other reactors are .... I'll get back to you. I have to check on spelling. Have a great 13th. Do you know why Jimin has 13 Tattooed on his body? And why 13 is lucky to all of BTS and Army? Find out. Today is a Lucky Day!!

fyi the "little lights" are bts's official lightstick called army b0mbs! it's something common in the kpop industry / culture for groups to have their own personalized lightstick for fans to have on concerts and events. it's basically a symbol of the fandom you are part of, so to speak.

I appreciate your comments and questions during these reaction videos. It shows your interest, and I thought your question about packaged plane and concert tickets was funny. No way, you are on your own. LOL Also backstage meet and greets, no more, they did that early on. 33:06 of this video they were showing a piece of a documentary that was released by BANGTANTV produced by HITMAN Bang (CEO) for BTS ON track. If you could bundle a reaction with the ON MV and the documentary that would be great! I truly think this is something that you would enjoy. They used the UCLA Marching band on the track and interviewed the folks involved including producers, the choir and more. I have included the links below to the MV and documentary. BTS ON Kinetic Manifesto Film kzbin.info/www/bejne/naiwkmmdpdR4b6s and ON Documentary: Dialog kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKHJpGmXm9t8ns0 In addition, my gut feeling is that BTS would have been an R&B group, and this is MY opinion only. In part for the major influence of R&B that you hear in their early discography and the music that they are making now in some of the solo projects. Just as you said, I would love to see that one day. 💜

BTS acknowledge that K-Pop is a part of what they're. But they don't call it K-pop, because K-Pop is a western term. In Korea it's called idol music and BTS call themselves idols. However to put BTS strictly into K-Pop box (the way West understand what K-Pop is) is unwise. K-pop not strictly a genre even if somehow it is. It is industry and many Korean artists who can sound opposite of what you'd expect of K-Pop are still considered K-Pop. So, yes, BTS are K-Pop and the boyband and there is nothing derogatory in these terms. Still they are so much more than this.

27:25 Btw 😂😂😂😂 There are certain instances like in variety shows where bts (especially jin) threaten the hosts with army for fun... We armys get a kick out of it from time to time. One of the members will go "Oh I'm upset, I might post how upset I am on Instagram" 😂😂😂 You will start seeing the show hosts scramble and beg for mercy. That's just for fun tho. 😂 In reality bts are very humble and and they know their influence and thats exactly why their music contains so many good messages. And bts know we armys will take it to heart and apply it to life. That's what they do with the power. Also previously the bts members always stayed silent (except for in their music) about their mistreatment and the hate they got. But recently members are beginning to slowly open up and post on socials about getting back stabbed by people they trust. They are realising that finally they can open up about what they face especially with them going to the military and being free of Government pressure. Namjoon last week posted about how a monk at a Buddhist temple sold his private conversation details to the media. Armys obviously trended "monk" and "respect bts" in return. But in general bts has a huge sense of responsibility of fame... And that's why armys put our trust in them.

You asked about the R&B section... they could but I don't think they will since they generally don't like to make albums with only one genre of music. Mainly because each member has their own style and they like to include their songs in their albums. BUT V or Taehyung is actually releasing his solo album sometime this year (his first single comes out at the end of this month!) and he has been known as the resident "soul" of the vocal line. He loves jazz music and old R&B and all of his solo songs are typically R&B or Ballads. Soooooooo I'm gonna bet money that his solo album will mainly be R&B and I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT because that's my favorite genre of music right there. (he's also my favorite vocalist of BTS for this reason) :) Also, I emailed you a roadmap of their best group songs (and the vocalist line's solos), so if you don't already have one feel free to use that one!

LL Cool J was my biggest intro to rap/hip hop. BAD was the soundtrack to my senior year of hs along with Salt n Pepa, Beastie Boys, Cameo etc. 🥰 I was at that show at Allegiant. It was the last of four they sold out. Army invaded Vegas for two weeks - it was the best time of my life. I met an Army on Twitter to share my lodging with in trade for a ticket to one of the shows. We had never met but clicked immediately. On the way to Vegas I met an Army during on my flight - we went to Hobipalooza together a few months later. Army are instant family. We make little gifts to give out to other Armys at shows. I made another friend in line for merch at a show. I have never felt safer in a crowd than in Allegiant stadium. BTS don’t do fan meets ( at least not in the US) but if you get certain floor seats you get to attend the sound check. I got to do this at Allegiant as well. Sat alone and made friends with all the Armys around me, gave out gifts and took pics together. After the show my friend and I shared a bbq table with two Armys we had just met. It felt like we were old friends- mind you these girls were literally 25 years younger than us. So, just a taste of the insane comraderie I have experienced because of BTS.💜

and for their future i think they want to be known as artists. i dont think all of them want to dance as much they rather focus on the music so i think we will see more of that in the future. but no matter what they will never escape the Kpop stigma because all singers in kores are called kpop no matter what style of music they do. so korean R&B singers will never bee known in the US without the level of fame as BTS has. but i think J-hope has now been put in hip hop category on sportify so they are already beginning to branch out and i think that it will help them in the future.

You asked about "bundles" and it reminded me of this. Have you seen all the BTS The City in Las Vegas stuff? When they had their Permission to Dance oncerts in Vegas last year they partnered with tons of venues in Vegas to basically turn Vegas purple. It was an immersive experience for ARMYS. They worked with hotels/casinos, restaurants, merch venues, etc etc to offer ARMYS special BTS packages, deals, merch options, etc. For example, if you paid for a BTS hotel room, it was decorated with merch (ie. BTS pillows, lamps, etc). Restaurants served special BTS meals. Coffee shops had purple BTS beverages. The whole city was decorated for BTS and lit purple. The Bellagio fountain had a special BTS show. And ARMYS were given a map outlining all the venues and opportunities. It was a brilliant plan for BTS and Vegas both bc it def kept ARMYS in the city longer and they spent more money will they were there. The whole things was pretty iconic and I don't think the project got the recognition it deserved in the music industry. You should look up articles from that event to get an idea of some of city-wide things and events they organized for those concerts. (This wasn't an actual "bundle" like you were asking about. Your question just reminded me of this event.)

About touring data info, u said about bundles: BTS used ticket bundles ( around 10K copies ) per their first stadium date ( Citifield ) in 2018 for Love Yourself:Answer album ( not like they even needed them since they outcharted #2 on BB 200 by impressive gap ) and NEVER EVER since then. They never really needed bundles, their pure sales were always good in US. Like they sold 917K copies of CDs according BB in this year

The crazy thing about BTS is that they had to work extra hard to get to where they are in the Western music industry, I'm talking about non-ARMY recognition, but they also had to work just as hard to even be excepted in the Korean music industry, mostly the Idol music platforms. It's been a constant battle from Day 1 ARMYs to where the fandom is 10 years later to have people take BTS seriously. It's exhausting, but so rewarding when people start giving them an honest chance. That's why I appreciate you, you listen with an open mind, you're willing to learn more about them so you can understand what the music is about and you don't say things just for the purpose of pleasing us.

I largely agree with this documentary as a long-term ARMY. However, as a male in the upper age bracket of the BTS fan base demographics I wish the creator hadn't so loosely used the words "stop being misogynistic". I have experienced years of push back against my investment in BTS from fellow males but never due to misogyny which literally defines as a hatred, contempt or prejudice against women. The mockery has mostly stemmed from things such as BTS suddenly appearing at the top as a corporately created boy band riding on looks as opposed to being real artists, an image of androgyny which is not a comfortable male image to engage, a fan base basically comprised of young females, BTS being Korean "boys" as opposed to men, not wanting to engage the Korean language, BTS mostly releasing trivial pop songs, amongst others. I have experienced toxic masculinity but never misogyny which is a powerful and despicable philosophy. BTS once spoke of the consequences of the devaluing the concept of anger. I think in the just fight against misogyny knee jerking to loose use of the word when triggered similarly devalues the power of the word in the fight for equality. Yes, males have to figure out how to be comfortable with a fanbase which only now is becoming a bit more gender diverse, but care needs to be used when employing as heinous a term as misogyny as a descriptor unless appropriate. Hopefully ARMY will remember how damaging misplaced use of this word was when BTS released War of Hormone and Danger. By escalating ascriptions to their worst possible meaning, one devalues the efficacy use of the word in the fight to comprehend and smooth out the gender divide.
