As an Army, I feel lucky we have someone like Boracity in the fandom. She is real and not scared to speak her mind and the truth eventhough she knows some people will attack her. I also have some things little things that I disagree with her but I still love watching her videos because to me she is not someone who just wants to talk shit or defense something blindly. She always gives reasons and proof on what and why she says something.

the biggest issue with tiktok is two-fold (1) tiktok ARMY in there are kpoppies for the most part and really are lost about Chp 2 and BTS discography and what is going on and (2) there's no way to tell who anyone really is when they post stuff, so it's a widely used tactic by stans of other groups to pretend to be annoying ARMY with any BTS songs just to stop trends. I've seen it myself while we sat helpless on twt watching them do it. There's only a small handful of useful tiktik ARMYs I've seen.

@@turtles1717 I'm also considering making a Tiktok so I could help promote Bts' songs. But alas, I'm not good at editing. There's so many Army's and on certain situations, we can move as a group and do amazing things. But when it comes to Tiktok, the fandom is lacking. Plus, Bts got so many good music even in their older albums that would get the general publics attention if promoted right. "Just One day" had a bit of popularity for some time on Tiktok but Tiktok Armys kinda glossed over on that and now it's kinda gone and didn't exactly trend there. And I've observed how Tiktok trending songs work. We got so many in our discography we could use to trend. Like the first part of "We Are Bulletproof pt.1" and the instrumental part of Jhope's "Blue Side". Heck, even "Hangsang". These beats are perfect for the typical Tiktok Editing. Tiktok Armys need to also stop making only Bts videos on Tiktok and focus on the Bts music. We can gather non-Bts related edits like gaming, anime, movies, etc and use Bts music to promote the music. It's so easy if you think about it.

Honestly it is frustrating cuz some of the points talked on how to spread the word on tiktok is something we've already done on youtube One of THE biggest way we Armys got more listeners from KZbin was by armys going to big youtube accounts & simply asking them to react, their non army followers will then vicariously watch BTS thro their fav KZbin account Back then we didn't gatekeepnon HOW these big KZbin accounts reacted Some added their own comedic sketches and it WORKED!! I myself was introduced to BTS thro some of the KZbinrs I used to watch back then!

I honestly stay away from Tiktok Armys. They're just casual listeners or typical fans anyways. Tho I know there are Armys on tiktok who are decent and actually try to properly promote the guys music, I just can't stop feeling annoyed at spammers. I always knew they're scaring the tiktokers and the general public away by spamming nonsense. It's like the "Yoongi Marry me" spamming but instead of it being an inside joke, they're using it on others who have no clue wth is happening. And rather than being curious or happy with the attention, influencers just end up not using Bts' music anymore coz rather than being praised for their videos, they get spam comments of nothing more than nonsense.

Being a massive introvert who is also on the autism spectrum and who has social anxiety, my batteries drain super fast. If I even leave my house to run a couple errands, I need a couple hours of alone time to recharge. It's exhausting for me to be social even with my besties, because I constantly have to keep myself in check so I don't commit a social faux pas and make it all weird lol.. 💀 💜 24:14 doesnt matter if the dance is silly, or the tik tok is dumb, as long as they use BTS' music, it will spread & bts will get attention from it. People want to force others to like their groups like I had someone arguing on twitter on why I only listen to BTS when jimin was friends with a ___ member. I especially just told them their music wasn’t my style and just because Jimin is friends with them doesn’t mean I’ll be their fan. Then they said I wasn’t a “kpop fan” and I told them I didn’t care I’m only here for BTS. Kpop fans are so used to liking 100+ groups that they can barely catch up on that when they see someone only liking one group it’s like the end of the world. I’ve given so many groups a try and I just can’t get into them their songs aren’t my taste. There were like 2 groups where I liked 1 or 2 songs but I won’t say I’m a fan of them because I don’t know their names or anything about them I just like that one song and that’s as far I’ll go. People don’t understand the difference between casual listeners and fans.

BTS have said they have outgrown KPOP in lyrics & interviews but they always pay their respect to previous artists & seniors. They respect 1st gen 2nd gen 3rd gen seniors. They respect non kpop korean artists. They respect non korean western artists But the problem is the fans of some of the above can't accept BTS respect. Back when BTS was smaller these fans would hate on bts saying bts is paying their respect to these artists so they can use their name & get some clout. Now BTS as big artists when they pay their respects the fans now want to police on how Bts pays respect and what exact words they use, some going to the extent on telling Bts what they should say

10:17 this is my issue with radio too. I have a very hard time believing in organic radio hits. Stations just force us to listen to whatever song they deem is popular to put out; it's rarely the listeners calling for the songs. So, it's less that there was a demand for the music and that's why it's everywhere, but more that the music is everywhere so ppl think there's a demand. And this is why ppl always miss me with the argument saying radio is more organic than fans efforts for songs. At least with fans, it's an actual audience asking for the music. And fan agendas are much more likely to be "for the music" than any radio stations' decisions that we rarely can even check beyond taking them at their word as following what they say is popular.

kpop stans can't "just enjoy the music" cause kpop is actually not a music genre at all, it's an industry, a complex in which music can become secondary to the idols' image, the merch, the dances, etc. it makes it so the music is not just music but an extension of the people they think they know and like

some people would argue your content doesn't fall under transformative content because while yes you react, you also play the video on its entirety and stay silent for a lot of it. that's a style that some audiences like, it's like watching a video with someone else, but other content creators (understandably imo) don't think putting the entire video is okay cause it takes away the views from the og creators, like why would your viewers go to og's channel or video if they already watched it here? obviously, i don't think you're doing anything maliciously, but the transformative content talk has been going on for a while (see jacksfilms vs sssniperwolf for example) so it's definitely something to watch out for
