Slaughter is probably isnt the best one. Imagine the spinal cord still functioning, therefore animal will feel the pain before died. Some animal takes long time before died. Compared to beheaded where the spinal cord is completely transected at the same time.

@@adamhazza4090 I dont agree that animal loss conciouness immediately. It depend on how much blood loss. The amount of blood loss depend on technique. Have you seen animal can wake up and walk after slautered? Unless if you tight them up. Because the animal is lying down, the blood supply is still going to the brain through collateral circulation which is the alternative blood vessel other tgan carotid artery. Yes , animal will ultimately died but they will be more sufferring compared to beheaded. I know its difficult to decapitate the animal but we should create tge technology. For small animal like bird, chicken and rabit, decapitate or beheaded is less sufferring than slaughter.

​@Adam Hazza Also, the body of the animal starts kicking, which is natural as it pumps the blood out faster. And therefore the meat will be cleaner. When you actually behead an animal, the body does not move to pump and the blood stays inside and the meat is tougher. Those who behead the animal have to 'exercise' the body to get the blood out. The Islamic way I'd the best way.
