I can see what she's saying basically. And everyone needs to have respect for this woman. The relationship was a decade long his mother died and he paniced and probarly started to question his own life and what he had done. This happens to people who haven't experience death that hits close to home and when it happens people start questioning what they are doing and if they are missing out. I totally get it I've been there it just fortunately happened just at the start of my 20s. You still love the person you just wanna live life to the full... And sometimes a relationship like they had can make a person feel trapped. Basically jeana don't go back and she won't he's on his own journey of I need to do loads of things before I waste my life mindset. Jeanas more on the she regrets nothing and she's content with what is going on in her life. Death changes ideas. He'll always love her. But he just wants to go do his own thing because his moms death has made him realise "he's wasting his life" if that makes any sense. You always think your parent will be there guys and when they die you start to realise you have one life etc what do i have to show etc. Hence the end of the chapter. It's important to reflect after breakups like this. Too many people these days go into full on hate mode after someone breaks their heart, but it's really good that Jesse and Jeana are on good terms and still keep in contact, it's pretty rare today. And it's important to realize it's okay to miss somebody without wanting them back. Of course I miss them together after all these years together, but they're better off going their own separate ways. People come and go. People change, that's okay. That's life.

As a married man with a lot of trials passed, i truly cannot understand why they broke up. A break is one thing but to split permanently doesn’t make sense. In my opinion, if you truly love a person, your partner, then you simply never quit. Make it work, work through it, make each other better. 10 years is long enough to make a good consolidation in those things. But that’s just my worthless change.

Good question. But that’s not what my statement pertains to. I spoke for their situation of basically growing out of their relationship, which isn’t love imo. If my wife cheated on me(which would actually never happen, and I’m serious) I don’t know exactly how I’d act. But it is a break up level even to cheat. But it goes down to your world view and beliefs. Everyone is different. Just expressing thoughts

My argument, though, is that he overemphasizes the vlogs as a reason for the breakup when, to me, it was clear during the last two years of the vlogs that he wanted different things. He didn't seem that into her anymore and there was even a vlog (I think the one where they go to the empire state building) in around 2015 where she says it sucks that he seems more into directing than spending time with her. Him flaunting his new girlfriend on the internet despite blaming the internet for the demise of his old relationship is just something that I think supports my theory. Of course, I don't know these people in real life so for all I know, I could be way off.
