Thank you for this awesome video and pattern. Can you please just clarify something about the sleeve. because you are doing the special mesh stitch it requires an extra stitch. You mention you add one more stitch to the back panel. Does that mean that you would do one more row of simple stitch for the back panel?

Hi Louise! Thank you for watching! I did not add another row and it didn't affect the overall length of the top. I did block the sweater afterwards and made sure to align the bottom edges when I did. If you do have any minor inconsistencies, blocking will help sort them out :)

@@thecraftycrochetier if you need an odd number of stitches for the sleeve, where do you find the extra stitch if front and back panels are identical? Do you create it with a yarn over?

So I used 23 sts (for a medium) in the back panel and 22 sts in the front. The one st didn't affect the overall pattern since I seamed from the bottom - so the bottom lined up. If you are worried about this, I'd recommend leaving it at 22 sts (for the medium) on both the front and back panels, and then doing a Sc crochet border around the armholes first. At the last st, place 2 Sc. This will give you the odd number you need. Does that help?

I would love to make this into a summer dress, but want a looser a-line fit in the hips. I know how to increase on the edges so am fairly sure it will work if I can decide how far down the increases need to start and whether I need to increase on every row or every other. What would you do? Thank you for the pattern and video. It is so hard to find Tunisian top and dress patterns. Sure wish you could post more. Any ideas on a top down raglan top or dress?
