He definitely hit puberty before death, and I am ALL here both his Sub and Dub voices, gosh that laugh might be my favorite in the series

@@noorahamadcma I know that, and your SUB>>>>> Dub is opinion based, can’t have my own opinion? Just because you prefer Sub over dub doesn’t mean it’s automatically better overall. Also, once again, I know Sabito died at 13. I said that because the voice the V/A used for was cool And where did Eren come into this? Same V/A different characters

@@Akira-MonomiOriginal while English dub of Japanese animes delivers some cold af lines on some scenes still not consistent like the sub.Thats not based thats fax.I tried watching dub in my early days when I started watching anime cause I thought its too much work to read the subtitles and I had zero idea how cool Japanese sounds or how talented he VAs r

Tanjiro goes from 13 to 15 in a 2 episode span

I love training arcs that span arcoss months to years because it feels like they earned the power up even if it was time skipped in One episode. Tanjiro doesn't just pick up a sword and learn the best technique in 3 days while calling it hard work (Ahem Naruto rasengan and Ichigo's Bankai) He actually worked for a year to just reach the level of a Average Demon slayer. Other examples would be Deku's 9 month training getting him ripped but not like Jojo ripped but what realistically is possible in 9 months. Or any DBZ training arc since they have years of time skip. SS3 felt justified because its been 7 years since we last saw Goku, and he is the last person to spend those 7 years without getting stronger. You know off the bat he is much stronger because he is Goku. 10/10 for Demon slayer's first training arc.

Tanjiro starts at 13 years old, after 2 years training he's now 15. Nezuko is 1 year younger than Tanjiro.

At the beginning of this episode, the way his teacher described demons sounds a lot more like vampires which I suppose is a type of demon. So obviously Nezuko went to sleep since she hasn't been feeding and has now become weak. I don't believe vampires die from starvation since they are effectively immortal, but in some lore they do become like desiccated corpses from not eating until blood is reintroduced to initiate their regeneration. Not saying its applicable here, just speculating on my part.

I mean demons here are clearly inspired by vampires. They need blood/human meat, can't devour anything else, can't be in the sun, in some lore have special abilities using the energy from the blood they have taken in.

I believe you overestimated Tanjiro Kamado's age as being 16 at the start. I think he was younger.

Correct, Tanjiro was 13 in the first couple episodes.

Tip: Please try to note down everyone’s name and their relationships within the story. It might help a lot on upcoming episodes. Lot of reactors get hate comments from the fandom just because you didn’t recognize a character.

I've always wanted to watch this one. I'm now enjoying through your review...but at some point I will have to start my own watch. Since you are an anime fan, I wonder if you have ever watched Rurouni Kenshin. It's an old one, my daughter and I watched it when she was in high school in the early 2000s. If you haven't watched it I HIGHLY recommend it. Full of great characters and classic anime animation style. It's still my favorite. I look forward to the next installment of Demon Slayer Season 1. Peace.
