The technique isn't actually CG! It's called rotoscoping where they shoot a video irl with real people and then draw over it, only a couple of scenes were done in CG (Which I believe were mocapped but I could be wrong), and even then, they rotoscoped over the CG instead of rendering it outright, the shots you guys were talking about were Rotoscoped with irl people tho!

I STRONGLY recommend yall check out genndy tartakovsky's show called Primal its about a caveman and a dinosaur that go on crazy gory adventures but the thing is there is no dialogue throughout the whole first season but its definitely good asf and the episodes are not that long 20 min max definitely a must watch.🔥🔥

You’ll quickly learn after reading Junji Ito’s work that when crazy shit happens in his stories they’re treated like normal day occurrences and people quickly adapt and treat it like normal. I think it’s one of the things that makes his Horror stories so disturbing.

Day 30 of spreading the faith in our Lord, The Fool 🙏. Hope you check out the trailers for Lord of The Mysteries, another chinese anime(donghua) coming out next year. The rest of the comment is a small glimpse of why you should watch it as it is one of the greatest webnovels ever written and it even joined the national library of China earlier this year with how big it is over there. Absolute masterpiece of a story even though the first arc is off-putting for a lot of people since it's setting up the base for the entire world with alot of informations given to us. It's going as far as setting up a real currency and political system for every countries. We got confirmation that every episode will be more than 30 minutes long with at least 12 episodes for 5 seasons confirmed which would translate to half of the book (volume 4/5 out of 8) It has one of the greatest power systems in anything I've seen/heard of and changes genres throughout time. We got more than 10 pathways each starting from sequence 9 then sequence 8 etc with each of them having different abilities and needing a ritual to go to the next level. The fun fact here is that the higher you go, the more likely you are to become insane, so people that are your teammates today will become horrible monsters tomorrow. It starts off as a mystery/horror/police thing as we follow a team of policemen tasked to destroy evil beings in their city and it expands much more into an epic/horror/historical tale that knows no bounds. The secondary characters are very memorable since we get their point of views for a while from time to time. The main character uses his cheat to act as a god and make his own cult which becomes the main cast. The antagonists are TERRIFYING and bully the others throughout the whole show (they're here since episode 1 lol) Definitely recommend reading at least the first volume before the anime comes out.

Some good facts to know: 1. The score for the the music in this show was created using a spiral tone wavelength 2. It’s 20 chapters fitting into 4 episodes and each chapter in the manga tell a separate tail like a full chapter of just the dad another chapter of just umi 3. This is considered one of the best manga horror’s to this day and it came out in the 1990’s with it taking 5 years to complete the 4 episodes! 4. the anime is Rotoscoped
