Just imagine selling: - Drunk acting - Putting on an accent - Playing a character with idiosyncrasies - Remembering how the wedding speech is supposed to go - Remembering the distortions on the wedding speech All at the same time and topped off by the hilarious drunken sit down at the end. The guy was a genius

Just to be able to remember all those distorted phrases and put them together in such a convincing drunken sequence is pure genius! What a great talent he was. Now all we get are schlock American sitcoms with pre-recorded laughter telling us 'Hey that line must be funny because someone is laughing at it!?'

I'm British. Our Comedy Golden Era was the 70's and 80's. We'll never have the like of the 2 ronnies or Monty Python again. It's changed for the worse now. That's why I'll always find myself coming back to classic clips like this. It's too PC these days. Fawlty Towers is another classic if you haven't heard of it. And Dad's Army...I could list tons of the classics.
