Fun fact. The smell doesn't come from an actual fragrance that they put in the ball. It's a chemical reaction between the cohesion additives and hk22. Another fun fact, Brunswick couldn't use the cohesion until Storm's patent on the scented bowling balls ran out. So it's very likely that they've had cohesion additive for a while before they were able to put it to market

That first part is completely possible. That second part, not at all correct. (Note from RJ: As someone who has been to the Brunswick factory and met the chemists, I know that this is factually incorrect.)

Looks like a higher rg mesmerize

Different after drilling numbers, but similar starting point. That X density block in the middle of the Criterion allows some neat changes after drilling. Mesmerise is a bit earlier too.

How would you gentlemen compare this ball to the Pitbull Bite (which I currently use)? All the detail you can offer please. Ball motion, Brake point, length, impact on the pins, etc... Ive been a fan of DV8 since I started league bowling 2011 with the Hellraiser. I absolutely love my Pitbull Bite. The shape it has down lane. The carry and then sharpness is cool, but the pin action is way cooler as compared to my old Hellraiser. Im looking for something as close to it as possible. If theres a different ball youd suggest thats fine. Id truly appreciate as much feedback as you can offer. I love the work you guys do, and trust your input. Thank you in advance. 💪😎🇺🇸

This ball will have more back end and be less smooth than the Bite. THE cover will give it more distance as well.

How does it compare to Mesmerize?
@LaneSideReviewsАй бұрын
The Mesmerize is a bit earlier, and will give you different performance after drilling. We had the Criterion half way between the Mesmerize and GB5.

My PAP changed slightly. I've seemed to go from 4 1/2 over 5/8 up to Scoop's PAP...Does he know how rev rate? 360 maybe?
@LaneSideReviewsАй бұрын
Scoops rev rate is 325-350. He's pretty dead on matched!

Comparison to Widow 3.0?
@LaneSideReviewsАй бұрын
Closer to BW 3.0 solid than Mesmerize (a common comparison). The BW 3.0 is a bit earlier and smoother.
@dobermanownerforlife3902Ай бұрын
@@LaneSideReviews that is why I brought it up. The other comparisons don't seem to make sense. The other comparisons seem more apples to oranges. Criterion seems it would adapt very well to my (2) widow 3.0. Slight different motion without jumping to skid flip or full continuous.
