I was a Lyft driver for almost a year. I got told countless times by females that they were super relieved that I wasn't creepy during the ride. I guess it's pretty normal. I didn't talk much unless the passenger wanted to. I would usually ask 1 to 2 questions just to gauge if I was going to potentially have an issue or be in some type of safety issue, since I drove mostly on the weekends and nights.

I have been in this EXACT scenario, except the guy was much creepier...Talk about scary, and super uncomfortable. *Flashbacks to the many traumatic taxi rides I’ve had* This is too accurate 😭 From the handing over of the cellphone to ask for my number, to the asking me what I do for a living or where I want to hang out. And especially the question, “Is that where you live? Where I just picked you up?” These were all taxi rides too so I didn’t know the driver and I couldn’t complain (didn’t even think of taking note of the taxi company because I was too nervous) and I was alone in all of these rides. It’s straight up traumatic, seriously 😭
