Why rent landed? How about Sell everything, rent HDB/Condo (which is much cheaper), then buy 2 property.

2015 someone sold T Bahru HDB for $700k n bought a freehold bukit Timah for $1.6m before BTO. NOw TBahru $1m, still cannot cash out freehold $1.7m. Choice is key besides timing.

I also know said this, I paid $500 deposit for his course and didn't go for it. Unlucky I lost $500 but I tell myself lucky didn't go for his course , make wrong choices will lose more , both profit and opportunity cost.

I did that when I’m single and no commitment. I rented a common room to stay and invested in a condo. :)

How about sell your own condo, rent your own condo unit and buy 2 for investment. :) U get to continue staying where u are staying and u can sell rent buy 2

Most people can’t wait for new launch to complete so most of my members bought a good value resale home to stay first 😊. Once got home, next into 2nd property for investment.

In addition, when you said sell after 3 years for the capital gain, the $150K gain is based on what private property types and there will be a seller stamp duty when you sell the property? Thks.

Settle own stay property first, get it under 1 name. Save up to buy the investment property under spouse. $150k is referring to condos... No SSD after 3 years :)
