Why rent landed? How about Sell everything, rent HDB/Condo (which is much cheaper), then buy 2 property.

Its clear Eric's plan yield more profit for our own pocket. Sell rent buy 2 also fit those who trying to portray they are rich for their business image eg insurance agent or property agent

2015 someone sold T Bahru HDB for $700k n bought a freehold bukit Timah for $1.6m before BTO. NOw TBahru $1m, still cannot cash out freehold $1.7m. Choice is key besides timing.

I also know said this, I paid $500 deposit for his course and didn't go for it. Unlucky I lost $500 but I tell myself lucky didn't go for his course , make wrong choices will lose more , both profit and opportunity cost.

Hi Eric I love your KZbin videos with insightful information please also add with inflation rate calculations as well as time goes by property gets more expensive than the previous year can you give us extra buffer amount to consider as well into our budget apart from agent commission and other cost

I did that when I’m single and no commitment. I rented a common room to stay and invested in a condo. :)

How about sell your own condo, rent your own condo unit and buy 2 for investment. :) U get to continue staying where u are staying and u can sell rent buy 2

Sell and buy 2, but for hdb upgraders, do we buy one resale first for homestay? I think you say best.. Home stay is important for family.

Most people can’t wait for new launch to complete so most of my members bought a good value resale home to stay first 😊. Once got home, next into 2nd property for investment.

Eric, so you suggest buy resale condo for own home. Now prices so high, how to find undervalued good resale? And does that also mean forget abt price appreciation and stay long term?

@@savvyericchiew I was shortlisting on The Glades 3bd for resale stay until I see there's quite a lot of unprofitable transactions. Do you know why 1st buyers lose money? Would u still recommend for resale stay?

Hi Eric, do you advocate new launch for both own stay and investment? If I only want to move once (without renting in the interim) I can only go for resale or those going to TOP

Hi, Eric. I chanced upon your video and find some truth in your sharing. Just to check what is your advice for someone who needs a bigger space for growing family and yet have enough for investment. In addition, when you said sell after 3 years for the capital gain, the $150K gain is based on what private property types and there will be a seller stamp duty when you sell the property? Thks.

Settle own stay property first, get it under 1 name. Save up to buy the investment property under spouse. $150k is referring to condos... No SSD after 3 years :)

If everyone is buying new launch 1br/2br on opening day to sell at TOP, then who is there to buy these investment units at TOP?

Small units not much demand for resale. Sellers don’t make healthy profits.
