I woke up at 4am yesterday, left my place at 5, drove for 2 hours and spent an hour cutting a path to the river. I spent the next 10 hours digging and filling holes hoping for gold. Unfortunately I didn’t find enough to pay for my gas. It was still an amazing day of pushing my limits to see if I could find a high water pay streak. Great video, great hobby, heavy pans my friends.

The way you've brought over this makes me feel like skateboarding and gold prospecting has a few things in common. Each time you try your never guaranteed success, you're gonna fail more than you succeed but I feel that when you do get that success it makes it all the better because you know you've worked for it you've grown through failures you've been tested and came through the other side a better person for it

I just got done with a really rough night at work, in terrible pain from my old man back! With every fiber of my soul telling me it’s time to quit. This hobby is much more than what most initially sign up for. It transforms you.The exploration, planning, scouting, weather elements, and hard work slowly creep in to a self realization that it is pure therapy. Hiking, climbing, braking new trail all combines to free us from the thought that’s it’s all about the gold and more so about the journey.

Wise words Chris, might've been the script for my Aussie adventure. Now I'm back home, i realise that the gold i panned down under in three weeks is the same amount as I've panned here - in three years! And the same principles still apply, nor will the weight of gold earned diminish the pleasure i derive from crashing around in the undergrowth here or in Oz. I'm still pushing the boundaries and testing my limits! The journey, not the destination. Thanks for all your great work and advice. T.

I’m trying to ask a question. You have said numerous times that the gold in your are is on top of the clay layer and most times it’s fine gold. My question is have you tried to see what’s below that clay layer and find the true bedrock to see what might be there??
@VoGusProspecting7 ай бұрын
Every time we go out i do this. There almost always nothing
@brodrick31647 ай бұрын
It is similar in my area. Almost every speck of gold is found above or just in the K T boundary clay. Testing to see if it is on bedrock is not an option as that is a few thousand feet down.
