I was 90% sure I was going to buy this prior to even seeing it, I missed out on not only the Rangemaster, but the Squale X TGV that was in my cart as it sold out. As an enjoyer of field watches I was happy to see this and was just on the fence about whether or not I wanted a mechanical watch as everything I own is quartz or auto. I was mulling it over and when the site crashed I decided if there were any on Thursday, I’d buy it. Bought mine at 7:30 this morning and I’m very excited. Very nice intro! I am at the intermission point in watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. Purchased the new release immediately. It replaces my son's Hamilton Khaki which has now broken for the second time. These features are really appreciated: dimensions; lume; display back; no date complication; ground hollow in display back; manual wind; and numbered limited edition; price. It would have been ok if the front crystal were acrylic. This watch ticks every single box in what I look for from a mechanical watch.

Oh my goodness, that gilded movement is gorgeous. The contrast with cool grey case makes it such an unexpected treat for the eye. A warm heart underneath a cool exterior. Walking around all day, knowing that it's there, I'd be so tempted to take the watch off and have a look. I have a Hamilton Field Khaki and it now looks boring by comparison. The gilding, the bubble combined with the elements of the Rangemaster... this is genius design.

Just crunched the numbers and came up with the funds to purchase one. I am very impressed with this piece. Just a great watch, guys! I frankly love that reverse internal dome on the caseback crystal, it speaks to the design decisions that we engineers make all the time to MAKE IT WORK! If I'd seen this before I ordered the grey JFK last week, it would have been a much more difficult choice. Sadly, I'm sure it will be sold out before I'm ready to press the go buttom again. As a field watch fanatic this watch caught my eye. I'm not an auto fan so this "non-auto automatic" intrigued me. It looks very nice. Hopefully it is as big of a success as the first and forces a 3rd one. I personally would be interested in a solar powered field watch with stupid great lume! 38-40mm case. I like numerals but wouldn't complain about a numerals/indices combination similar to this one with 3, 6 & 9. Maybe rectangular hours and the traditional triangle at 12. I like a day/date but I suppose ajust a date wiuld do if the lume was crazy good. 😏 Great video guys! Keep up the great work! 👊🏼

This is the perfect watch for my collection!! i have never been so interested in field watches, but always looking at them...Finally got this one!! becuase of the charity and also for both of your chanels wich i spend hours and hours watching at. it will be in my box next to the tudors seikos and other limited edition microbrands. Its coming to basque counry spain!!
