Because of Jef I Started using Maschine to arrange my songs, It's not as flexible as my DAWs but I find it pretty straight forward with the way it was designed... Everything is right there so I spend less time searching sounds and more time playing, and the looping in ideas view is awesome! Thank you for great videos

I've to to tell you...I've had a Maschine for a couple of years now and had gotten so frustrated with trying to figure it out that it just started collecting dust. It seemed like every video I watched just wanted to show of cool things it could do without explaining what was going on. They were just pushing buttons and turning knobs everywhere with no explanations. I even tried watching them in slow motion to try to figure out what the heck they were doing. I recently set my closet studio back up and decided to try it again. It was then that I discovered your tutorials and although I have only watched a few, they have made all of the difference to me. You explain everything very well and take the time to point out each control that you are using so I can easily follow your lead. I finally feel like this is something I can learn to use and love. Thank you!

Not sure if my last post went through but I was asking how to live play the performance strip using the Maschine to a DAW. I finally figured it out. Create 1 Instrument track (stereo). In bus = none / output = bus 1-2. Add Maschine FX to Instrument 1 track created. Make sure it's the effects not the regular plugin. Not sure how it's labled in ableton as I use protools. Add audio track(s). For instance let's use two. Audio track one input = bus 1-2, default out. Audio track two = ext 2 input. I used 1 sound per group adding the performance fx plugin within the vst. NOTE: Make sure you route your Maschine channel outputs (from the group) to each EXT to each group. Basically in Protools, and most DAWs the instrument track BUSes the Midi to WAV and exports it to each individual track on the DAW when played. The highlighted group in Maschine will then allow you to use the performace FX to manipulate in realtime the group and will output on the DAW. Hope this helps anyone else. Been trying to do this for half a year. Hopefully you can release a tutorial with this info, as I have not seen anything that did just this.

How to turn of effects/samples 5:27 you select the effects, sAMPLE or audio module in use with the 4d encoder, then push it inward as if you were going to upload a new effect then instead choose none and your sample/effect in use will disappear.
