I'm a new Sub as well. This is the 3rd Video I watched. Im watching the Planer Cart next
@NuKraftWorkshop5 ай бұрын
I really really appreciate that. That cart can be used for multiple different tools in your shop. I have found that since I built it, I use my planer much more often 👍🏼👍🏼

Fantastic project. I’d try that for my home but it might be a little too big for my deck but I love it so much. I may say, screw it and build it anyways.

Thank you so much and I’m glad you like it. Go for it. You can shrink it down a bit to fit your patio. I didn’t give out any dimensions on this build as I wanted people to build this for the cooler they want to use and I knew some people would have size limitations. Give it a go!!

Came out really nice. I like the hidden serving tray but forgot one thing. The drain port from the cooler.

Yep… Had the video edited and ready to go before the parts came in for that…🤷🏻♂️ It’s really a nice cart, if I say so myself🤟🏼🤟🏼 I appreciate you watching.

looks awesome! I'm guessing the idea to empty the cooler on this one is just to lift the cooler out and dump?
@NuKraftWorkshop6 ай бұрын
That was originally going to be the idea but I have since added a drain to the side of the cooler. The video showing that process should be posted in a day or so. Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you like our design!!!

Great looking cart. - could you link the cooler you put in it?
@NuKraftWorkshop6 ай бұрын
Sure… here it is. One of the reasons I didn’t mention dimensions in the build process is because a cart like this is completely customizable and can be built around any cooler. Hope you build one … and let me know how it turns out!!! www.walmart.com/ip/Igloo-48-QT-Laguna-Ice-Chest-Cooler-Red/169502621

What size cedar fence did you use?
@NuKraftWorkshop3 ай бұрын
Standard 5/8x6… just make sure you let it sit for a while and completely dry out. Stuff is usually really wet from the big box atore
@Velly_drums6 ай бұрын
This looks really good and since it’s cedar it should last for a long time! What would you sell the one you built for? I’m going to build a smaller and see how it sells in my area, want to have a decent idea for pricing. Thanks!
@NuKraftWorkshop6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the compliment! I put this on Facebook marketplace for $795… I’ve seen comparable carts without 2 x 4 frames and legs going for $900… For what I have into it, 795 is some good profit. I’ll keep you updated on how it goes. Also, check out what these things are going for on Etsy. Similar (but not as good in my opinion) are going for a grand or so

This is awesome. My first cart looked more like a roll around burn pile. 😂. I really like projects like this and the idea of using fence pickets. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Thanks again.
@NuKraftWorkshop6 ай бұрын
Sorry about your cart 😂😂😂. I’ve seen plenty of cedar picket builds where they just cut to length and use the rough surface… I prefer to run mine through the planer and smooth them out. Sure beats sanding all day long. Build you another one… You got this

What about a cooler drain?
@NuKraftWorkshop10 күн бұрын
I think I mentioned in the video (or maybe in the description) that I didn’t film that but if I got enough requests I’d do it again and show the process … didn’t get much interest so I didn’t 👍🏼

How about dimensions, lumber needed and type, I plan on building one
@NuKraftWorkshop3 ай бұрын
I used cedar for everything that is exposed and two by fours for the internal frame. The legs are 2 x 4 cedar and everything else is coated in cedar pickets that I ran through my planer just to smooth them out. Dimensions are tough because unless you’re using my exact cooler, they wouldn’t work for you. I’m in the process of trying to get some plans up on my website but I’m running into a bit of difficulties and hope to have them resolved in the next couple of weeks. Sorry that’s the best I can offer you right now

@NuKraftWorkshop I don't think I won. I don't remember. I've been racking my brain on making this for my brother in law and I'm going to use 4x4 post as the legs and cut into them. Then, as I see, you made a rectangular box and went from there. I do enjoy these videos. It helps me to grasp things better

Whats the dimensions of your frame?
@NuKraftWorkshop25 күн бұрын
If I’m being honest, I don’t remember. I built it specific to the cooler I used and every different cooler is going to require a different sized frame. I’ll do my best over the weekend to get you some more information. Purpose of my video was basically just to show you how something like this is constructed. Thanks for watching and I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment/ask a question
