This captivating dessert with the base as the foundation of the story then the main body of the flavour components layers just like a story builds up ... The ending of the story a visually aesthetic cocoa powder dusting ..The showstopper ..The glossy sheen of the shards perched aesthetically as the standout pieces complementing the components of the visually appealing dessert beautifully:)

Good buts not a traditional Black Forest cake which is sublime. It’s a chocolate cake with coconut oil and cherries as an afterthought

Why call this a Black Forest Cake and not just a chocolate cherry cake? This is in no way a Black Forest Cake. The cake itself is wrong, it should be a sponge. There is no white chocolate or glucose in the chantilly cream. The layers are soaked with cherry schnapps, where the name of the cake most likely comes from (Schwarzwälder Kirschwasser -> Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte). And there is no chocolate mousse in a Black Forest Cake either. Why insist on calling this cake something that it isn't?

Hi, i am an original german baker and this is defently NOT a black forest cake!!! It is your style but it is not original. Sorry but that is fact. The name "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte" is depending on the original alcohol with the name "Kirschwasser" in the receipt of the cale. It is a historic schnapps of the region of Schwarzwald. And this kind of alcohol is absolutly important for that cake and the taste. Your cake is a chocolate cake but NOT a Black Forest cake my dear.

As mentioned in the video it’s my interpretation of Black Forest. I have tried a few in Germany and they were my inspiration for this cake 😊
