THANK YOU I always wondered why on earth people thought that the killing blow took away the ability to earn a shard or proc imp drain soul. It literally has never done that for me.

@@killval849 It does not proc on live classic WoW unless you get killing blow. You can get shards, sure. But not imp drain soul proc.

Me as well as many others with Early access tested specifically things such as this to see how close everything was to private serverr :) i encourage you to try it yourself, take a video, and by some miracle proce me wrong. So long as YOU or YOUR PET get the killing blow Youre good and IDS will proc :D have a good one, and good luck discrediting me ^_^

voidwalker was good on private servers, on classic it looses aggro after 2-3 spells even with the improved skilling

Honestly I like going succubus all the time, deals more damage and sometimes even holds aggro for a good amount of time if u let her open on the mob. Also very useful when you are on a pvp server, she can help you win skirmishes in the open world or allow you the oportunity to scape a gank, do not understimate seduction.

@@MiguelMiranda-kx8so Agreed, I think a lot of us researching our classes are unknowingly pulling a lot of information from private servers. VW was a blessing in very early levels, got dicey in late 20's early 30's, and after that it is effectively useless, can't even put a full dot rotation on without almost immediately pulling aggro and that was with improved VW. I also just started using Succ and letting her get the first whack, honestly holds aggro better than VW and has utility while dealing about the damage of another DoT. In hindsight I would highly recommend anyone leveling a lock to just completely ignore demonology and get the essentials from affliction first and then go straight to ruin and work towards DS or MS ruin, ruin is great once you hit the mid levels and the OPness of wands really starts to drop down to just being tickles so now you have a beefy SB

I Start casting immolate as soon as the void walker gets close and cast its torment every time it refreshes while I either cast shadow bolt or use my wand usually if I do pull aggro it’s around the time the mob dies

comments like this really make my day! also one thing you should consider: the warlock is much more engaging and fun to play when leveling compared to the mages monotonous one button spam and then drinking plight. but if you do roll mage, check out my mage guide so you dont lose your mind. :)

Yeah, this is maybe ok for private servers. But even then doesn’t go over drain tanking with a succubus. Which is what I’m doing. VW sucks on classic. I keep pulling aggro from it. I only pull it out for multiple mob tanking.

you only need 3/5 suppression for leveling, since it's not efficient to try and kill mobs that are more than 3 levels higher than you imp COA is wasted talent, since it doesn't do the higher damage until the last seconds. your mob dies before those higher damage ticks come in. 2/3 improved voidwalker won't do much. even at 3/3 your vw would still lose aggro, especially in classic since the threat is different vs private servers

well I dont think I advise going supression all the way, I mentioned that the very core build is only getting 22 or so key talents in affliction. Still the way I pull at later levels my dots do run their full course. But I was trying to imply that every warlock will have his own way of doing things, and this is what I believe to be the most efficient

Dunno about this guide.. Drain tanking is clearly the most powerful build for leveling, especially with rank4+ drain life you become a machine

Lock is one of the best pvp classes just because of spam fear. Also starting at phase 3 one of the top dps. Aswell as one of the best solo lvlers if not arguably THE best. What are you talking about.

@@ChosseRogue 5 on each or bust. Honestly, you're always going to need the PVP utility of the instant cast corruption. unless you roll on PVE like a scrub. PLUS suppresion helps you kick the shit out of dungeon mobs
