At 14 years old my son had the teenage triple vaccination he was so sick for 10 months throwing up several times a day and could only stomach veggie juices he could barely walk with help. $28,000 of IV Vitamins later he could go back to school at a slow pace. We are five years on and we can see health as it was just around the corner. Boosting the immune system is a much better way of dealing with the nasties of the world than any injection.

I talked my doctor into running a full B complex panel to prove that I had Biotin deficiency. I didn't know that the panel had all B vitamins except Biotin. The results came back and my B12 and B6 were high. I hadn't been on supplements for 7 days prior to the blood draw. At the visit, the doctor didn't know what to think and just told me to reduce my supplements. I take very little B12 and B6. I had to educate my doctor that this actually proved my point about Biotin deficiency, since PCC enzyme of the transsulfuration pathway, requires Biotin.

I had low normal and high folic acid. I stopped (high dose) supplementing a week before the test. This was serumtest. I also took HoloTC and my active B12 was high (because I took it as mouth spray so that explains high active B12 as my stomach didnt bind the other forms in my stomach to become activated). My dr said I still possibly could be deficient on B12 because supplemented vitamins can stay in bloodserum for up to 5 weeks and this could not rule out deficiency. Just to say to you, a serum test doesnt tell much except if it shows deficiency then you absolutely are deficient it cant proof much more on its own. I need to take MMA blood test to rule deficiency out. Despite I took megadose (50000% RDA as mouth spray) B12 my serum levels were low normal. Be wary of symptoms if you indeed stop supplementing, the high levels may still be from the supplement you took and you still could be deficient because you have issues with activating B12. I choose to not stop and continue and test again in 3 months when I slowly reduced supplementing. Because I feel better taking extra B12 and dont want to risk my health stopping it and suffer deficiency. I keep mega dose 2 months and then half it in month 3 and 100% dose in month 4.
@rdance3
@rdance3 8 ай бұрын
A MMA is definetly a good metric in determining B12 deficiency but it too is not definitive. It really needs to be performed in conjunction with a Hcy test. Serum Folate is usless. It doesn't measure active Folate. I retired due to extreme metabolic fatigue, at age 53. My methylation was all screwed up. My doctor had me on double doses of Folic Acid. My Folate and B12 always tested normal. If Hcy is high and MMA is high it could be either low active Folate or low B12. If Hcy is Hcy is high but MMA is normal, then it points towards low active Folate. But here's the kicker. Low Biotin can mask a MMA test result because Propylon CoA Carboxylase, that makes Methylmalonice Acid requires Biotin as a cofactor. I have injected myself with B12 for 15 years and family members for 5. It is true that certain supplements linger in blood serum but by now way do they linger for 5 weeks. I know this for a fact. More than once I have been tested by one specialist that was unexpected and I didn't go off supplements, so I retested less than 2 weeks later, after proper preparation, to find more believable results. When I retired, I had 5 specialists and was on no less than 20 prescriptions. I'm the one who figured out my poor methylation, not my doctors. I was knocking on death's door when I did. I was overweight, depressed and listless. I started my own procol based on my own research and understanding of metabolic pathways. Since then, my fitness gained to the level that I was asked to compete in a Men's Classic Physique competion. I got down to 9% bodyfat by DEXA. I also threw 16 prescriptions away. No thanks to any of my doctors. Like I stated in my original post, I asked for the B vitamin panel and when I got the results, the doctor couldn't even understand the results that were clear to me. BTW....Low B6 can also mask MMA results. @@AnnaMaria-zm8cv

If Folate status in good, another cause of high B12 is having low Biotin. Propynol CoA Carboxylase of the Transsulferation pathway, is Biotin dependant. In this case, B6 will also be on the high side.

Watching this and you answered my question at the end. 🥰 @peterosbourne went to the new Internal medicine Dr this week. Asked for a nutritional panel, he looked at me strange, ordered blood test I JUST had done last week, threw more BP meds at me, gave me a script for the B1 (I told him I just bought), prescribed me folic acid ( bout to go look to see which one) and walked out. ☹️ So tired of these "doctors". BP didn't act up until I fell in the bottle for two years. I am determined to fix myself. I'm not taking them meds they give me. All them BP meds they give me make me feel like I'm going to have a attack. And I told him potassium makes my heart flop. Checked the meds he gave me... It has potassium in it! 😤 Thank you for your work! The B1, B2, & Vitamin A I started this week made me feel better INSTANTLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 💚✨

You can be deficient in any of the B vitamins if you don't have a healthy gut microbiome. The gut microbiome feeds on your vitamin D so you need to have enough vitamin D in the first place. (Look up Dr. Gominak.) In any period of high stress, the body uses up a lot of its vitamin B stores. That's why stressful evens, physical or mental, can trigger vitamin and mineral deficiencies to surface and not go away anymore.

Counter-intuitively, you will most likely spend less money on food, be more satiated, and will really start cleaning your body and cells from the inside out. It will give your body a rest from a multitude of plant toxins and anti-nutrients as well as toxic processed foods and substitutes for food that are called food.

You mentioned that the cracked corners of the lips can be a B2 deficiency. I've heard that taking more B2 can help those people with the MTHFR SNPs and that people with MTHFR issues, really just have low B2.

Hello, your multivitamin seems to be a very good product, with balanced quantities of vitamins and minerals!!! The problem for me is the iodine, as i have hashimoto and my doctor adviced me not to supplement iodine.

Maria, your doctor is wrong. Any thyroid condition benefits from Iodine supp. Except you need to educate him on a root cause of Hashimoto: parasitic infection.

The graphine is off set I think by human complementary factor which binds the gold nano particles changing the zeta potential to the antithesis of how graphine oxide works - this in-turn inactivates and deactivates the collidal graphine oxide - via colloidal gold - which I drank like a litre of in around a week no adverse effects Also I take about a teaspoon of EDTA a day for months and zeolites no adverse effects yet beenficial effects

folate decreases homocysteine level because of the conversion to methionine, and homocysteine is one of the sources of glutathione, so why you said that folate deficiency reduce the level of glutathione, maybe the reverse of what you said will happen?
