I completely forgot that the Haute42 G16 *is* full-profile compatible when I was making this review. I don’t own one myself so I can’t guarantee they’ll work, but in theory they should

They work, I use them on pinky, LS, and RS extra buttons. 37g bottom out spring and 1mm internal 90A O-ring modded Tecsee medium puddings on the rest of them. worth noting that the V1s slightly loosened my gamerfingers caps, very tight fit. Also, ordered 18 switches, but received 22. 6 switches of my batch (around Dec 2023) ended up having double input issues or extreme spring ping.

Right on! Always cool to see more switch reviews.

Unfortunately I’m a little limited by my hardware at this point. Part of me wants to pick up a punk workshop controller so do more testing but even with that I’m limited to half-height button casings. Keep doing great work bro, always love your videos!

Consider adding rubber orings to the buttons, i think it makes a little improvement in the feel, speed, and sound but really personal preference. I think it's worth trying!
@Chris_F2 күн бұрын
I tried but I actually prefer without them. Like you said, totally personal preference but worth trying for sure!

I ordered some last week! I'm excited to try them out. One thing that I was missing when switching to the ASI LVL was being able to slide easily. It was rough that they weren't available on the US site tho.

Ooooo let me know what you think! Consider buying some finger socks for mobile gaming/phones to REALLY get the slide motions flowing

The Haute42 G16 takes full sized keyswitches! might need to try these out

Totally slipped my mind! Thx for this comment

The difference between the punk work shop and my haute42 m16 switches was very surprising, definitely takes a while to get used to the very fast actuation.
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
Agree, there is a huge difference

How did you do that PEWGF? I keep rewatching, but I always end up getting neutral in between f, d,df2 - from slowing down the footage multiple times it seems like there SHOULD be neutral but on input history its one motion.(P1 side)
@Chris_F10 сағат бұрын
If you go really fast the game skips your neutral input

im interested but sadly they dont offer a clicky, or a thoky option. so ill stick to my lofee wizards for low profiles and my nk sherbets for my reg switches. They offer a clicky or thocky option ill give them a look

Don't know if I got unlucky or something, but I bought V1 buttons and they started double pressing, making me drop combos that require holding a button. They did include a couple extra switches that I swapped in that seemed to work fine, but I'm not confident in the overall quality control. Switched to qanba gravities and never had the issue since.

How long ago was this? They updated them a few months ago and the older ones are discontinued

The Haute G16 comes stock with Graywood V4 switches. An incredibly frustrating issue I have with them is that the keycaps will pop off with double tapping. I switched them to Speed Silver switches and the caps have not popped off once. Have you had any issues with your keycaps popping off while double tapping with these new Punk Workshop switches?
@CylianoКүн бұрын
You can fix the keycap popping out by putting a tiny piece of paper between the stem and and keycap
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
No, I’ve had no issues whatsoever but I also use punk workshop keycaps
@TimTam854Күн бұрын
Punk Workshop buttons come with a tiny rubber silencer, they used to be installed by default but now they come in a separate bag. With the silencer installed they're even better. They also changed their buttons about a year ago, the one before the V1 was even better in my opinion.. quieter again. You can't get them anymore unfortunately.
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
Ah I don’t know that! I never tried the old version so I can’t compare but thx for sharing
@chiricosfКүн бұрын
even faster micro switch buttons seem to be the new trend e.g Flexigear Flashtap have you had a chance to try any yet ?
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
I’ve seen their products and I would love to try them, but they don’t sell standalone keyswitches so I don’t have a leverless controller they’ll work with

Does anyone know is these will work with Sitong buttons?
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
Apparently they work with gamer fingers so they *might* work with sitong, can’t guarantee it though
@dsc59572 күн бұрын
Do you know if these fit in gamerfinger buttons?
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
Haven’t tried myself but my gut tells me “not really” unless you’re really good at DIY modding. Hopefully someone in the comments knows

What’s the difference between V1 and V2???
@Chris_FКүн бұрын
V2 has longer total travel (0.8mm for V1, 1.8mm for V2)

It is interesting my fingers hurt with normal length switches no matter how softly i try to push them, but with low profiles they don't at all and can play all day.
@Chris_F2 күн бұрын
Mine don’t hurt but I do feel like there’s a lot of wasted movement
