Secretly saving at the moment to be able to gift my son a bespoke suit on his 18th birthday. We live in London, so Savile Row will be the way to go, I think ;)

I grew a few inches in height from 18 to 23, (also gained a lot of muscle after I started lifting, so if that's something he is likely to get into beware of buying it too soon), really nice though.

Raphael, consider a series of videos where your team takes a regular guy who wants to improve himself (one of your viewers), and helps better his style while working within the parameters of his age and budget. The goal should not be to pick a neanderthal who's never trimmed his beard or even worn shoes, but to pick a man who already has a really good sense of style, and to help him look even better.

I remember my Dad took me to a nice restaurant for my 21st and he left a tip that was the about the same as the bill, which was steep to begin with, especially when he ordered the most expensive bottle of champaign and a few doubles of a Scotch in the back room with a cuban cigar. The waitress pretty much melted & fawned over my dad with hugs and giggles when she received a 4 figure tip. My Mum wasn't so pleased and asked why he left such a huge tip. He simply replied, it's how I remember the day for the rest of my life.

Do what you can afford and afford what you can do. It may not include clothes, travel, home etc all at the same time. Life stages are important. Don't let someone else define what is aspirational to you. The content on this channel may be a goal or not. Who cares, its subjective. They have very good suggestions and taste for sure!! I think they are good guys with excellent content. But have a budget, unless you have un-limited income. To each his own, I like they content. :)

there are 3 things on my bucket list that are related to classic style. 1st is make myself a fully/mostly bespoke tuxedo, including shirt, cumberbund, and bowtie. ideally out of wool and silk. Make myself a fully lined and canvassed 3 piece suit. i want the pants to have a button fly, full leg lining, an inner pocket for keys, (so my keys dont jingle around much) and a pocket watch pocket. and a removable inner warmth liner. A fully canvased and lined jacket with inner pockets for my phone, pen, hankie, and kindle, surgeon's cuffs, (and an inner sleeve pocket to store a hankie. i picked up storing my clean hankie in my sleeve from my grandma.) and a ticket pocket. 2 fullback vests (where the back fabric is the same as the front.) one in the same fabric, and one in a seperate, complimentary fabric. also, interior pocket for my comb, pen and phone. and a matching face mask.

As a classic menswear enthusiast, I would choose attending a match at Wimbledon as a sporting event -- men's final if money ever is no object. It's probably the only place where you will see people dressing their absolute best to watch some of the best athletes in the world battle it out. I'd attend with my wife and, of course, the classic snack would be strawberries and creme with a glass of champagne. Regarding sartorial goals, I would love to commission a bespoke item some day. I'm also looking to get a black tie ensemble and to wear it a few times a year. If I chance upon a good deal some day, I will indulge. Another thing I would love is a dress shirt with cocktail cuffs like Connery in Dr No. T&A is insanely expensive, but Spier and Mackay offer cocktail cuffs on custom shirt at a much lower price (about 120 CAD plus taxes) -- it's not sea island cotton like T&A, but it's a good shirt nonetheless. None of the above is unthinkable, so I might have to revise the goals some day! Of course, visiting iconic menswear locations would be great -- Savile Row, Jermyn Street, etc. It would be even better if I had a little bit of money to spare on that trip and bring back a little treasure with me. 🙃 I'm know my wife has plenty of ideas to lengthen the list, so it won't be a problem to find more goals. No need to make more suggestions. 😂

Great topic. I have my own personal sports bucket list, of which I’ve checked off a few (World Cup match, World Series, Final Four..Kentucky Derby and the Masters are the top of list now), and a few oddball things that I think are cool (circumnavigated the globe in a single trip, straddled the equator). Still lots of travel and experience things, and my list is constantly evolving. It’s good to have such a list, and it doesn’t have to involve globe hopping. It could be as simple as attending a Broadway show or a rodeo in Texas or an airboat ride through the Everglades (which is an incredibly exhilarating experience). Great stuff!

Going to the Belvedere Bash in October has got to be one of my personal bucket list items and I'm figuring out how to adjust my schedule to make it to this unique and possibly one-time only event. Highlights I'm looking forward to: 1-Meeting Sven. It is said that when you meet someone in person, you can tell in the first few seconds whether they are a true Gentleman. I'm sure I will not be disappointed. 2-Judging for myself based on seeing him in person whether Preston is a bot or actually a human. This will be worth the price of admission alone. 3- I plan on wearing some of my clearance sale Macy's and Men's Wearhouse items to at least one event during the weekend to see if I can extract genuine compliments from anyone in the more fashion sophisticated GG community. 4- If I shave my head for the event, I want to get Kyle's feedback. The people in my circle have split opinions on how I look with a shaved head vs with hair.

So far, I would like to get another pair of Ace Marks shoes and a nice pair (or two) of Allen Edmunds shoes and start with a made to fit then, hopefully, a bespoke suit. Oh, I'd like to get a Montblanc fountain pen (thanks to GG)! I've been to Jermyn Street and Saville Row. A bucket list item would be to get something from a shop there even if it is a pair of cufflinks, shirt, and/or sportcoat.

The best stores in various cities would be great, I will likely be doing international business trips in the near future, and having a list of the best places to get items would be wonderful.

My bucket list at the moment seems to include above all learning foreign languages: all of the languages of my ancestors, all of the languages that contributed to the development of my native language, all of the languages of the Scriptures of both my religion and my partner's, the language of the original inhabitants of the place where I grew up, bringing all of the languages of which I currently know at least the basics to C2 level, and last but not least a bunch of other languages that are interesting for a host of reasons. I'm nearly 60, there are several dozen languages on that list, so I'm not sure I'll have time to do much else - unless it is something that can be done at the same time as I do those other items, so that I can as it were bake two dishes in one oven.

An evening of cocktails and fine dining with Cindy Crawford would be at the top of my list. But there's a pretty big dependency there 😅

Nice list! Glad to say that I have ticked off quite a few of these, and some others as well. As ideas, how about adding: lay down a few bottles of really good wine for your grandchildren (or a cask of single malt Scotch as an investment for them); become a trustee of a charitable organisation; plant a tree; adopt a stray; have a piece published in a "name" magazine; learn to tango?
