It’s funny how delusional men are and how they think they have us all wrapped around their finger. My fondest memory of my ex husband is him on his knees begging me not to leave after he ignored me for 4 years! LOL. He never thought I’d leave! He thought he could just treat me like crap forever. I don't think men are shits... I think women have been force fed the idea of happily ever after since we were little... And as Elliot states, evolutionary drive is for us to get a guy to commit. This guy I’m talking to I tell him to have options and have fun cause isn’t that dating.... For some reason the moment I say I can do the same thing he doesn’t want to leave. Look dating shouldn’t be so serious in the beginning, when you meet the right person you will know. If you can live life before you met him you can live life without him. So much work to be logical with men these days. Since love doesn't exist too much anymore. I'm willing to do what it takes to win in life, and protecting my heart from mixed emotions from men is one of them. I probably will most likely not waste my time making a guy jealous, cuz then i might feel like I'm chasing him. Which is the last thing i don't wanna do. Jealousy is a really dodgy thing to handle. If anything, that is something you don't want happening. Threats are going to come-by, another man making a move etc but never ever deliberately create it. My close guy friend says we are just friends. He knows I’ve had feelings for him, and I still do. We got in a huge fight the other night and it hurt me when he just had to point out that he doesn’t want to date “anyone” and that we are friends, so I told him I’m dating someone. He apologized the next day for saying the mean things he did and said he cares about what happens to me, but now won’t talk to me. If the friendship really was just platonic to him that whole time (several years,) why is he ignoring me now? I’ve made several attempts to communicate and he could just still be upset over our fight, but I feel a shift in how cold he is since I told him I’m seeing someone. I made a point to let him know it’s not anything serious yet, and I never wanted to tell him about it because I had hope, but I was feeling defensive so I told him. He needs to know I can’t wait for him forever. So now what?? Why would he ignore me after I told him that if he never had deeper feelings for me?
