I'm really feeling the itch to play on my world that i made when mistlands came out again, but i've already beaten the whole game on that save and don't really wanna do a whole new playthrough until at least ashlands comes out. I love building in most games, but usually i like to space my building between progression, do a little building, then progress, fight a boss, repeat. At least i haven't done any of this hildir stuff yet but i doubt its gonna be that long in the grand scheme of how much i've played this character lol.

I like variety, but what would be the practical use of the outfits Hildir sells ? I mean the game doesn't allow you to glamour your armor to protect you but look like something else, the outfits themselves don't offer protection, so unless you have some kind of a Roleplayer server where there's some harvest festival or something....what's the point ?

All chest pieces decrease stamina cost of using items by 20%, and hats decrease by further 15%, so you can have 35% decrease in stamina cost. Handy when building or doing chores like farming, woodcutting, mining.

this game needs multiplayer improvements. social side of valheim is extremely underrated. my gang and I had lots of fun while we were trying to raid swamp dungeons nearly 2 years ago. no mans sky suffers the same thing but their system is slightly better.

TBH, her trades are pretty much trash. I think for each suitcase you find for her, she should offer to sell you some sort of pack that will increase the quantity of slots in your inventory. That's one of the biggest pain points for me in this game, having to constantly throw out some materials I may need because I don't have the room to carry them. Also, equipped armor should not take up storage spaces. You're wearing the stuff.

Valheim is probably in my top 5 games of all time already.. but I don't understand the thought behind this update (aside from the world modifiers and QoL updates) .. was it just meant to be filler while they work on Ashlands? As others have said, seems like a bit of a waste of time. Add new trees for new wood types, new types of rocks/minerals etc. (like in Minecraft) which would give building variety.. Add some additional mobs in each biome etc.. I feel like some relatively easy additions could add a good amount of variety to the game.

So what I got from all that is everything you can get is cosmetic. They added 3 mini bosses to fight for a few recolored cosmetic items... They could have done so much with this game since it came out and talked of asperations of minecraft and have really done so little. They need to start with what the modding community has done and whats popular there and add it to the game for starters.

You do realize you can just move your character to a new map and take all your stuff that is important with you right. Also its and early access game. You should really get use to starting new often. But to answer your question I assume so as you can force spawn her brother but I doubt she will work right because none of her quests will be on the map. So at that point your best bet is just to spawn in whatever you want from her.

They need to make it so you're always wearing your armor, but can 'hide' it. Otherwise, its pointless. A raid can happen at any time? Yeah, not taking my armor off.

She is not person specific. So tbh if someone else goes and get the chest and takes it to her they are doing you a favor as you cant teleport it by default. Once they do that you will also be able to access all her new items.

Its is 100% going to require a new map. The only way she and her quests will spawn is if the locations in which they can spawn in have not been explored. People need to realize this game is not done and just get use to starting new maps.

as someone who loves this game the disappointment is understandable. I don't see myself quitting the game anytime soon but the devs did promise a lot in the beginning and the update pace has been terrible. its been in EA for 3 years with very little additions and lots of time between updates. at this point it could very well be in EA for its entire existence.

if the area she is supposed to spawn in has been discovered she wont appear. just make a new save and go find her. odds are you wont be going to her that often just like the other merchant. having multiple maps is useful in many ways.

I thought it would be nice to be able to mount and ride seeker soldiers but "breeding" them would not make sense since the queen is like the insect mother. I hope they make something the queen drops or something in the ashlands that lets you make a blood magic staff to temporarily tame enemies and let you ride seeker soldiers that way.
