Nice!!! As a Mexican I can say I like the way you made that Barbacoa, just Im not shure if thats a korn tortilla, for a real mexican taco you need a good korn tortilla, and if you have an awfull hangover you need a really spicy salsa! hahahaha And with the rest of the liquid of the meat you can drink it as "consomé". So, one bite to the taco, and then a spoon of that amazing consomé!

Keep up the good work!

Down here in Texas the tortilla factories sell barbacoa but it is beef cheeks made in a crockpot. This still looks good though and I'm sure it tastes delicious becauae it's smoked meat. I once smoked a whole head of a cow and I can tell you it was goooooooooooood.

I just tried reheating chuck roast like you hated up the beef in your video for nachos. Wow. Thanks for the advice. It worked out great. It was juicier and more tender on the nachos them when it was new.

Looks great, Roel! There are many things that you can do with this leftover meat. Another great one (and easy) is to make subs. Cube the meat, and add it to a substantial amount of butter or margarine, with veggies that you have already sauteed in the butter. I suggest onions, garlic, and perhaps mild peppers ... but add what you like. Simple seasoned salt and black pepper for spice. Once it's hot, add a carpet of your favorite cheese, and cover it until the cheese melts. For a bun, use a loaf of good french bread, but hollow the inside out some, to hold more meat. Simple lube for the bread (I use mustard and mayo). This should feed four very hungry people. Try it; trust me, I had it for dinner last night (using venison neck roast). Stay well, and have a great week.

Love your channel! Keep up the great work... But I'm gonna give you a pro tip: get yourself a chamber-style vacuum sealer, vacuum-seal your leftovers (after completely chilled), toss in freezer for (almost) ever, reheat sous vide at about 70C. You won't be able to tell that it's not fresh off the smoker! Your welcome...

Your advice seems good...Reheat sous vide @70°C for how long?

does not matter if your meat or other stuff is vacuum sealed, some meats always have that freezer taste after a while.

Lol when you say Worcestershire sauce, it sounds like you're saying rooster sauce. To most Americans, that automatically means sriracha. Anywho, I have some leftover brisket I've been doing breakfast tacos with. Brisket, egg, cheese, and really hot salsa... great for a good wake up to start the day! Much love from Mobile, Alabama! Roll Tide! Keep on grilling!

Hola pit master ! Long time viewer first time commenting. I wanted to clarify something. Barbacoa does not come from Mexico but from the island La Hispaniola where Haiti and the Dominican republic are . It's a French bastardization of a Thaino world meaning cooked over fire . The world bbq originated in this island . When you gonna cook a dish from the island that quite literally invented bbq as we know it today? Also . I love this channel you guys are so entertaining.
