For my Presets visit: johnnathancord... A fun little warm up that will take through every key, if you get that far. But this lick started off with an idea from ‪@DavidBeebee‬ , my lactose sensitive northern friend. I found another way of playing it that is kind of tricky and revealing of legato inconsistency, and decided it'd be fun to move up strings as well as around the neck....

only if you wanted, you could buy me a coffee!
Get my PADs bundle here: www.paypal.com... (this folder will grow, and I'd encourage you to ask for different keys/songs and stuff that might suit this type of preset?)
I've decided to make it possible to grab both my Helix/HX Stomp bundles (the expression bundle with freeze presets has always been separate) together for £5 - www.paypal.com... - I will then email you a link to both bundles!
Try my general patches for Helix or HX Stomp in this bundle for £3 using this link - I will then send out the patches! www.paypal.com...
You can get my EXPRESSION patches in this bundle using this link - I will then send out the patches! www.paypal.com...

Great stuff, you post so often (which is great) that I bet you ate Christmas Dinner with a fork in your right hand whilst still legato'ing with the left...🤣🤣😉

Love your channel mate. Great tones and playing, the content on modellers is hugely helpful for us gigging musicians looking to spend money on something useful with longevity too. Subbed!

Hi John, do you use a footrest? I meant to ask you this and looking at your right foot in this video, it reminded me to ask... If you use it, is it something you would recommend to everyones?

This is such a great technique Johnny! More of these videos please! Especially I'd love to see more videos of your technique going through different pentatonic positions and going through different modes. How do you visualise fretboard and which system do you use? CAGED or 3NPS? Maybe a separate video or live stream?

This is very cool. Need to start “thinking Legato lines” - might happen depending on what music I listen to.

This looks like fun, definitely going to add it to my daily exercises. I still regularly play a few others you've put up before so it's exciting to get some new and even more challenging stuff!

I’m working on this and it’s hard for me to tell if you are picking all the notes or just when you move to a new string

I'll be picking string changes, Matthew! Although it would be a killer alt picking exercise!
