In this series, I assemble what I believe is the greatest team possible for each franchise. In this specific video, we're looking at the Orlando Magic.

@@GloriousKev can’t really do much about that, but they could go en fuego at any time. Against anyone. That being said, the aforementioned trio’s length and D could definitely prove to be assets to combat that.

Hill was not in his prime there in Orlando. Maybe Dennis Scott was better also you need some threes. Penny could shoot them but usually liked to go in for Jams or creative passes. The Team is their PG Penny and then Shaq. howard was always a head case and a goof.

As a Player then he wasn't in his prime. So you don't get Prime Hill at 25 / 9 / 7 / 2 / 1 you don't get that Hill. you get the often injured Hill for about 100 games over a span of 5 seasons is all at about 17 / 4 / 4 and 1 steal. @@juliusjones2487 Dennis Scott was better.

This is a good team- definitely could cause problems. Shaq, McGrady, and Penny would be very fun to watch. There are a few weak places, but there are some very versatile players here. They are surprisingly deep given their short history.

Awesome choices, Jonny! I really like the starting 5. Penny, T-Mac, Hill, Lewis, and Shaq would be so fun to watch. They'd be so athletic and fun. The backups are good too. I remember Hedo from his days in Sacramento more, but remember him as a solid role player. It'd be great to see him come off the bench with Anderson together. Howard would be a superb backup center also and he and Grant would form a solid frontcourt. I haven't learned as much about Skiles, but I did hear about the game where he had 30 assists. Another very underrated team. Role players is extremely important to a championship team and you have a few quality role players here that can step in when necessary and be a sparkplug. Also I feel like the only one on the notable mentions you can possibly make a case for is Dipo when he was healthy but I like Dennis Scott over him as a more consistent 3. I think this team may surprise some people when they do the tournament. I could see them possibly being a top 4 East contender

I think AG would be really useful in this team. The only position they didn't have any legitimate superstar was PF, so having an extra one to rotate would be better than a 3rd center, when you've already got two of the best of all time

It's really unfortunate that the Magic have never won a title even though they had several good teams and came close a few times. I always used to play the Magic in NBA Live '96 on the SNES, Anderson was an amazing 3pt shooter in the game :D. Crazy that Ben Wallace and Carter didn't make the cut, I suppose they just weren't that good at that point in their career when they were with the Magic.

@@davethekid1k787 Wilt only has 2 rings and he is considered better than Shaq. Both Hakeem and Shaq have 1 MVP and Hakeem has a defensive player of the year. Shaq has none. Hakeem is the all time leader in blocks. I personally think Shaq is overall better than Hakeem but like I said it is very much debatable.

This is a solid team that could make some noise, and would certainly be entertaining. Orlando needs to roll with that, well, magic from the Shaq-Penny era.

Swap Turkoglu with Hill in the starting five as Hedo would be more effective around 2 primary ball handlers like Penny and T-Mac, while Grant can bring some scoring from the bench and elevate the second unit's floor. Swap Vucevic with one between Wagner and Banchero, because they can play alongside both Shaq and Dwight (and they have more talent than Vooch). Swap Dennis Scott with Vince Carter, for getting more offensive solutions since the team is already stacked with deep shooters (and because he is my favorite player of all time)

When TMac was in his prime I saw him as east coast Kobe. Similar skill sets, similar numbers, similar play styles. I did a lot of comparisons on how they were progressing as players until TMac got hurt and although he had a pretty good recovery, his explosiveness seemed to have taken a bit of a hit after that.

That starting 5 is ridiculous. There are some great rotational pieces in there as well. You can tell they don't have the depth of stars like some of the older teams like the Lakers and Celtics and that is where this team will struggle imo.

Alright, I'm not gonna lie. I was about to go on about this team making a good late season push into the 7th or 8th seed to at least make the playoffs, but Rashard Lewis makes the starting lineup a little streaky for me to really predict easily now (unless there's a play in, Magic are lock for that and could win 1 or 2 games there to make the playoffs.) Don't get me wrong, Lewis is a good player that can help space the floor and I can hear the argument of "Dwight Howard can't be able to play the 4, he's not that skilled offensively!" Well, it's the same situation as the Lakers, just the matter of Howard not being a Kareem, but can be a easy lob threat and the frontcourt defensively would make the paint near impossible to score on. Penny and T-Mac aren't bad defensively either, so this team feels like the opposite of the Bulls. A great bench that shouldn't be underestimated with a starting lineup that I feel can be beatable by even greater teams. The Magic can make the playoffs, but they would have to beat out the Hawks and Pistons for it to really work out for me. But hey, those are just my thoughts. See you for the Mavericks, who always thank the basketball gods for 2011.

I love that this roster is basically a mix of the Shaq and Penny magic with the Dwight Howard Magic plus T-Mac, Grant Hill and Vucevic. It's a great combo tbh. Could use some help on the perimeter defensively though.

When the Magic have been Good, They've been Good, When they're been ANd They've Been Bad. they've been bad for about 15 years in a row only showing up on National TV games about 2 or 3 times in the last 15 years. That is such a low for them cause in the 90's they were on TNT and TBS every night. They were Seen as Media Darling and Easy TV Ratings from 1992-2002. probably showing up on National TV more than every team in that era with the exception of the Chicago Bulls They were up there with Lakers and Bulls in National Games but now are down there with Charlotte Hornets for TV games in the last 15 years.

This team could finish as high as 6th in the East. The Celtics, Bulls, Bucks, 76ers, and Heat are clearly better but this team has such a dynamic starting five. Adding Mcgrady and Hill to Shaq and Penny gives an unstoppable force. Howard can give good minutes off the bench too. It's a pretty well constructed roster and the starting lineup in particular has a nice inside-outside combination. Though this team is quite as deep as I intuitively expected. I think it would very interesting to see this team play the ultimate Cavs and Kmicks teams.

I know Grant Hill belongs no where near the starting lineup for the all Time Magic Team. He was basically the beginning of the end for the Magic. That may sound harsh and it wasn't his fault at all but it's the truth, they have never been the same Franchise they were since in the 90's when they wre up there with the Bulls and Lakers. @@ferdberfle5069 McGrady's stats never panned out for wins. He was more like a Glibert Arenas or Bradley Beal type player. the Magic Team is still really just Penny and Shaq. Too bad Penny got shot in the leg in college cause he was going to be the Next Jordan He was TRULY GOING TO BE A TOP 5 PLAYER OF ALL TIME, He was even better than Kobe
