Clearly they spoke about it beforehand.

Well, Sam you lose on a technicality as you said that the duelist could use decks based on that type excluding the unlimited cards like pot greed and graceful charity. Ancient Fairy Dragon is a dragon type monster, not a psychic monster.

SeeReax - reason why Snatch is banned is because if the equip card is bounced, or the monster flipped face down, then that monster stays under your control

Feel like Sam gets away with using out of archetype cards a lot on these videos :/. At the beginning of the game he explains how they can only use cards related to the archetype. He got psychic and proceeded to use a DRAGON synchro AND Terraforming, 2 cards that do no say PSYCHIC on them.

Ancient Fairy Dragon was allowed. Both of them had a copy of it because it's one of the newly unbanned cards. What wasn't allowed was Sam using Terraforming.
