Honestly, im in 100% agreement with you about the UI. Unless you feel like youre missing that last 10% of your prot warrior gameplay, dont even worry about the UI. You WILL get to the point of "feeling" when something is right. Trust me. Ive tried all the UI crap and ive gotten to the point of just not needing alot of unnecessary crap floating around all over my screen. The only macro that i even really need and still use is my mouseover interupt. Other than that its almost all DBM customization stuff.

im lvl 25. it's hard to find a guide for learning prot from scratch. these guides: "welcome, this is a beginners guide! so, when doing m+15, you should always remember...."

Yeah, you’re right on about that. It’s pretty rare to find guides for any class that really teach you how to play the spec. All I can suggest is to not worry overly about whether you’re doing things the “right” way. Just get in there, play, and you will learn from experience.

Get the luxthos weakaura package. Then for gameplay just pay attention to that weakaura it’ll have a bar that shows the time on your shield block, always keep that up, as well as keep up ignore pain for damage mitigation at all times. Use revenge last, prioritize thunder clap, ignore pain & shield block, use revenge on procs or if no other buttons to press. Also luxthos makes a weakaura package for every class, it helps a lot to see what your big cooldowns & talent synergies are.

Hey buddy great video I had 2 question 1 what add-on you use to see itemlvl and gear score 2 I keep seeing wariors getting extra time on their shield block what talent is that mein doesn't to that

Hey budd, thanks for the comment! 1) ElvUI shows me the itemlevel and gearscore 2) Its the talent called Heavy Repercussions which you can find on the Protection Tree on the left side of the tree two nodes below Challenging Shout
