Learn to read code and translate it into pseudocode. Then learn what programing structures have been used.

It will teach you Python skills that you can use anywhere but you may need to learn specific data analysis tools after to do exactly what you are looking for

It took them 15 years to agree on a standard language for browsers. They won't change to anything else unless something absolutely monumental changes. On the bright side, if you're good at Pyscript, Javascript is a walk in the park.
