Of course the Ranger Raptor can go over the same terrain, Loren Healy did the Baja 1000 twice now on a stock Ranger Raptor. Ford knows Lauren is a beast, maybe consider him as a driver for the Dakar too.

In general, not specifically about Ford: After the electric Audi that was powered by a fuel burning range extender, the Rallye Raiders now burn synthetic fuel to save the planet. Does anybody know where I can find the studies proofing that doing all this is beneficial in total energy consumption, environmental impact and costs? I would like to know where the windmills, solar farms, gas fields and/or farm areas are located to produce these fuels.
