Never really paid RC crawlers much attention, i'm all about bashing big jumps and high speeds but seeing this tackle some scale terrain has really peaked my interest. There are a lot of dog walking and mountain bike trails locally and having something like this with me would open up a heck of a lot more potential fun. Cheers Tomley :)

I recommend getting the Element Enduro kit builders truck. It does not include tires, wheels, body or electronics. This kit is for experienced builders because you will need calipers to get the measurements correct. I built mine to look like a Jeep Gladiator truck. I also used Vanquish metal wheels and Proline rock crawling tires. Thoughts?

The IFS system is such an imaginative idea, they even give you the parts for converting to solid axles nice! The amount of goodies you get for the price is phenomenal, over drive gearing, parts to covert ect. Well I'm blown away fantastic second/first review haha, cheers Tomley.

very nice, I'm a trail truck fan, mostly 'cos hardly any rocks where I live! plus it's nice not to keep speed rolling the faster cars and doing the "long walk" to pick 'em up. Trail driving is great for those lockdown lunchtime walks. RC : Not just for lockdown though! Really enjoy your videos Phil, appreciated 👍🍺🇬🇧

Tryin to find a good capable 1/10th scale crawler from a quality company, with good part availability, but don’t wanna spend an arm and a leg. What do you think my best bet would be? Youve got a good variety of cheap and expensive RCs to compare and contrast so I figured you’d be the guy to ask 😁

I have just got one of these too and I had thought it would be a better crawler than it is. My mistake for not realising what a trail truck is compared to a crawler. I am surprised how slow it is overall though as I thought I could walk on trails with the car but the car is slower than my walking pace so it's not fast enough flat out to keep up with me. I do love the look of the wheels on it but I have fitted some 1.9 alloy beadlock rims with super swamper tyres t mine just to give it a very slight lift.

Don't do crawlers myself,I only own the one,an scx24 that my lad bought me,crawled it around the house on xmas day and haven't touched it since lol, I do appreciate the quality of them though and that one does look mint 😊

It's funny how "pub wisdom" takes hold in the public consciousness - my wife's full-size Daihatsu Feroza has IFS, and several friends have, at the beginning of a day's off-roading, remarked "I doubt you'll be able to stay with us", only to find that the front articulates very well and they can't throw us off their tails.

Phil good video, think your right this looks like a new Hilux body sort of, but its not for me, i like the camera, i did fit a Runcam2HD to front of a crawler other week for "dash cam" footage, okay if you drive it it real slow and mix it in with normal footage

Onboard footage is hard to get right. A lot of cameras boast about specs… but don’t deliver. This one gives a nice 1440p picture quality along with built in stability 👍
