I am a big fan Tao. Just picked up on ring workouts about a month ago, amazing dexision! I don't think I will go back to bars, except for occasionally to switch things up for maybe a workout or so, here and there. Hey @mhk77 are you still workout with rings? How is progress after 9 months? Thanks for the workouts and inspiration Tao!

@@rajthomas6446 During lockout, with parks closed in my city, rings have been more useful than ever. You can turn any structure into a ring support, which is great. Wrists and forearms are also very targeted. Just don't forget about other tools, bars, floor and paralletes are also useful

@@alansmilealot It's been good. I feel stronger in the bar when I switch from rings. Also, you can hit chest, shoulders and biceps like never before. I've improved my eating too so I've seen good results, but nothing earth shattering. Just remember that rings are tools, not a magic pill

I first watched this video a few years ago and decided to buy a pair of rings. I am 65 years old now and I have to say if you want to improve your strength there is no better way to do it than with rings, it's all you really need . When I first got them, it was quite a challenge just lifting myself up on them and just and doing basic moves, that in itself was a workout. I can do things on the rings now that much younger people can't do. Great instructional video it most certain made a change in my physical health.

(this video is five years old, but anyway, I am going to write a comment) Those videos of yours are great. They motivate me a lot ! I have bought rings and have starting morking out. This is bliss. This is what I wanted when I was young ( now 40 ). I work out a bit for aesthetics, but mainly for judo. The thing is, I injured the last section of my fingers going over the board in judo, and I need 2 to 3 months of rest. Guess what ? I can train with rings whithout hurting the tip of my fingers. Guess who will be back even stronger to the mats in 3 months ? ( well, ... it would be nice if it was me. Let's hope ). Have a nice day everyone ! Matthieu

All assumptions regarding my strength were nullified the day I started training on rings. I could do 10-12 chest dips on a bar but on rings I could do just 5. It puts a love of stress on my shoulders and I am already feeling a lot stronger in my other movements.

I'm 45 and got them a few years ago. My son has a friend who's a trainer and in his 20s...he's ripped and comes over and struggles on them.

Rings are the best thing ever, there are moves for every fitness level, you can work every muscle group, and they are made strong. I bought a set that can hold up to 1,500lbs and has numbers on the straps so you can set them up evenly for $50 on amazon.

my God,, I only reach Tuck Front Lever Raises 4x8 and just completed its 2 sets...I have no energy left,..I'll use this routine, so glad I found this. great vid! still can't do one ring muscle up though.

Nice, I'm excited to try these movements out! Those Bulgarian dips look brutal. Regular dips were by far the toughest to execute properly on rings for me when I made the transition.

I train ring push-ups for a few weeks now. That feel when you are able to perform a few Bulgarian dips because of that. Couldn't even do a normal dip when I started. The only thing I can't really do is the Wide L-Pullups.

I've been using rings for 1 year now. I train 3 times per week. I'm not very talented. I'd say average for a 25 years old, maybe just a little good. Well, I want to say to everyone that has just started or plan to start with rings that these exercises are no joke. I think that's intermediate level. He makes them look like they're pretty easy but he's strong man. Performing the skin the cat without bending the arms is easier said than done, it takes a strong core. Bulgarian dips? Classic dips are already very intense. But that's the great thing about rings and the reason why they're such a great tool.

Any advice if workout was too short? It was challenging and form wasn't perfect but still felt it was too quick. Maybe add more rep and do 1 set of each exercise before moving on instead of finishing each exercise individually?
