I own both and the main diffrence to me is that the Xt-6 is very slippery on wet flat surfaces like stone or marble. Grip on XT-$ is way better in such situation, do you agree?

Although I love the aesthetic I can't get myself to wear salomon anymore the outsole is just too hard on feet and imo not comfortable after a couple hours.. if you're used to NB or asics the difference is crazy

Are they really stiff and plastic-y? I had a pair maybe 6 years ago and they hurt my feet because of how stiff and unforgiving they were. I love how these look, especially those with the embre effect. But I'm so worried about the same thing happening again.

Last week i used ACS pro for 5 days, walk not a lot but standing for 4 hrs., it makes my feet hurt alot. I have to wear kayano to relieve the pain and injured feet.

Initially, i was looking at the xt-pathway model because i thought all of them are waterproof and ive seen pretty good deals on it. Looking into waterproof sneakers because boots can be quite heavy and uncomfy for very long walks but sadly the xt-pathway arent water proof and so i have to look for water proof options.

1st off the SpeedCross 6 model is the best Salomon model by far no contest . Ok it’s not lifestyle but it can be worn as an every day shoe there’s absolutely no reason to buy the overpriced lifestyle . Find a SpeedCross 6 in a nice color. And it’s not about max comfort it’s about max stability. That’s all this brand is about. Stability, knee and back pain ultimate prevention. It works !

ACS pro is kind of suck. The arc is not for flat foot or normal arc if you need to stand or walk a lot. ITt's can make your feet injures.

It's all relative. They're not as comfortable as the top NB and Asics shoes. But that doesn't necessarily mean they're super uncomfy. They're perhaps more robust, although some people in this comments section seem to think not.

It’s like wearing basket shoes for the looks without actually playing or even being remotely passionate about basketball🤣🤣🤣 Sure everyone can wear whatever they want, but shoes are made for different things. Wearing hiking shoes that’s intended for nature, in an urban environment on asphalt, concrete and tiles makes no sense. Waste of money, and the shoes won’t do its purpose which is to offer comfort, stability and grip when hiking in various terrains out in the wild. Not down town posing to look cool for the sake of trends… I come from a country and culture where the outdoors and hiking is literally our cultural identity besides the Vikings. Just like style over substance its style over function.
