You’re right, I was already doing video work with the BMPCC6KPRO. Then I bought the small rig cage bundle for it plus the matte box and my first day on set with it rigging it up I was getting compliments and comments about being professional left and right. Hell there were even people I’ve never met before that happened to be on set asking me if I wanted to do some filming for them after I was done here. Nowadays, rods are kinda obsolete due to the fact that the Autofocus today makes the use of rod mounted focus pulling-stuff obsolete as well. Or, will maybe rod-mount-accessories be the next phase? Hi Sam, Just to let you and your viewers know, I bought this matt box to go on my Canon 28-70 RF lens which is a 95mm and the Matt box doesn't fit! The outside diameter of the lens is bigger than the inside diameter of the adjustable clamp (By quite a few millimetres. Quite weird that they have adapters from 95 down the the other sizes but an actual 95mm lens won't fit. Also 95mm filters wont even go in the front of the box as they are to large. :( Keep up the great work. Scott.
@SamHolland2 жыл бұрын
Hi Scott. Thanks for the insight. That’s such a shame. It’s kind of springy, I’m sure you’ve already tried but maybe it would work if you loosen it all the way and squeeze it open to make it fit? Let me know if it works 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🎥 Thanks again for watching
@SalaMotorsport2 жыл бұрын
@@SamHolland It would need to be about 3mm larger diameter to go on. I didn't really think about the 95mm being an inside size, I thought it meant that it would go on a 95mm diameter lens. I might have to get creative with the 3D printer I guess. Cheers for the reply mate. Scott.

@@skrotfiske I did make a part on the 3d printer that works great, I removed the original clamp and fitted it to the matte box, It even allows me to use the round variable ND and adjust it from a side window. @BleiteTV2 жыл бұрын
Same question
@tds36532 жыл бұрын
I got the pro one, not really. But then again I usually like a bit of side flare in my videos so I only end up using the top flag. Problem with the top flag was that it has these side arms that you can extend to make it bigger but they always vibrated when I was using the camera on a gimbal. Tightening the screws fixed the problem but if I were to get it again, I’d just go for the Mini matte box, not the pro. You just gotta figure out your needs I guess, both are great tools

Can only one filter be on the outside of the matte box? Thanks so much.

0:38 Why don't they pay your for this review? Maybe your payment is that you get content to talk about, because you didn't get the item to keep right. hmm, I mean, it's not like they're gonna approve of you bashing their product though, so the only valued response is a favorable review for them. So your 100% honest review must lean against what they want you to say or they will cut ties with you, so I wouldn't say it's 100% unbiased. But I do see that you have a lot of smallrig items so you probably aren't lying though, I am just saying. Either way, the product looks great.
