If you dissolve polystyrene into the petrol before you make a Molotov cocktail or petrol bomb as we call them here in the U.K. it makes kinda of Nepalm so it not only burns but the petrol sticks to everything making it much more dangerous and deadly. You can make a pretty impressive bomb from weed killer but it needs to have sodium chlorate as the main ingredient then all you need is some sugar a 500ml drink can and a handful of nails ball bearings etc. We made one about 15 years ago and put in in a phone box thinking we would blow the cash box off little did we know how strong it is and it blew the phonebox to smitherines all that was left was the concrete base. The explosion made the local news and was in the local newspaper’s.

Yes and it was actually named by the Finnish during the ‘Winter War’, bc Molotov, a Red Army General/Commander type, who said the bombs they dropped on the Fins were “food rations”. I think the origin of the name "Molotov" comes from Vyacheslav Molotov, the former minister of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union. When the Soviets invaded Finland prior to the war against the Germans, the Finns came up with the weapon and named it after him to mock the Russians that were getting obliterated in the early phase of the war. Another possibility is that the Soviets came up with the name in reference to the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact (peace agreement between Germany and the U.S.S.R) since it had broken down when the Germans invaded. The Soviets wanted to "welcome" the Germans with a special "cocktail" from Vyacheslav Molotov himself.

@@modestgrower2017 hi there! Yeah according to the ATF, since they don’t consider them “ firearms” a felon can own one but it has to be a muzzle loader. It can’t be the new black powered breach loaders. HOWER it also comes down to each state, even though tho the ATF doesn’t consider a muzzle loader, some states still may want you to get some sort of license for a muzzle loader. And it will be up to their discretion to give a felon one or not. New York for example where I live, just announced that they want to an consider all muzzle loaders firearms. I’m not sure if they have yet or not. But yes as far as federal law goes, a felon can own a muzzle loader.

Nah. Molotov cocktails were invented by the Finnish when they were fighting off the Soviets in 1939. They did name them after Molotov, who was in charge of foreign affairs at the time. They named it after him because he had made over the top, ridiculous demands for the Finnish to cede huge swaths of territory that Molotov knew the Finnish would reject since Finland had gained independence from Russia during the revolution in Russia. So the thing was a giant middle finger to Molotov as Soviet troops were horrifically burned to death because of his aggression towards the Finnish.
