The level of disrespect. Mayhem should never of even been in the bottom 2 the bossy rossy episode in season 10 compared to how vixen asia and monet done mayhem should've been perfectly safe the only reason she was in the bottom is because her runway wasn't your traditional blue denim like everyone elses runway looks but she killed the lipsync against monet and should've stayed. As for all stars 5 yh Mayhem didn't do as great as what i would've liked her to do and her runways compared to season 10 were more downgraded rather than upgraded but sbe still done fairly decent in the challenges her mr rogers verse was hilarious she csme close to winning the hotel decoration challenge (because between her and blair it was obvious mayhem would've been the top all star) and honestlg between her and india in the sheMZ challenge Mayhem done much better however india's runway was better . Plus by that point mayhem was ready to go home however if mayhem had that bit more drive i think mayhem and india's placements could easily of been switched. She may of even went as far as to take blair's place. And she more than proved herself in As6 as a lipsync assassin she killed the lipsync alongside Ginger minj and it honestly could've/should've been a double win

But of course we know the producers wouldn’t let things like that happen. It’ll just be interesting to see how certain things would play out if production wasn’t involved

If she knew the words, she would have absolutely stayed over Nina Bonina Brown (who had been in the bottom multiple times before then). Not saying that Nina didn’t deserve to stay in the competition, but I think that is one of the few cases where a front runner really lost their spot to the top because they didn’t prepare / weren’t a good at the lip sync.

Track record isn't the only thing that wins the season. I don't think the lipsync matters either but Nina flowers had a better track record than Bebe and lost the final lipsync. Manila had arguably a better track record / tied with raja and she lost the final lipsync. Brooke lost the final lipsync with the better track record. Gigi lost the lipsync with the better track record. Monique wasn't picked for top 2 in as4 when she had a better track record than monet Miz cracker lost the final lipsync with a better track record than shea. At the end of the day, ru/production just crowns whoever she wants to crown, there doesn't need to be based on track record / lip-sync performance

I really liked the cast/queens more than I thought I would, as I've only seen most of them on All Stars and by then I was getting a different or "seasoned" side of them. To be honest though, once Monet and Monique were gone I wasn't as interested in the season. As well as Miss C, but by then the show was pretty much over lol. Vixen I liked, but i wasn't sure if she was being portrayed like that by production or if she's really just a fighter. And I did find for the first half of the season I had a tougher time warming up to Eureka compared to Season 9. She felt almost out of place, but the season felt very much like Aquaria's season - but also maybe I felt that way because I knew she won lol. Kameron is cute out of drag LOL Beyond that, I still have the reunion and technically the finale (I might skip the finale, I usually do) to finish before watching season 11 for the first time as well.

@@iluvujeasus2239 Gigi was never officially disqualified she refilmed everything she needed to. Also I can't see them not crowing Brooke if had she won the lipsync. The final lipsync (within the lipsync for the crown format) is just as fair as any other lipsync, if they can edit in in favour of there preferd contestant they will but that's really hard to do with a live audience as we learned with Aquaria Vs Eureka. Unfortunately predetermined results and winner of the lipsync are conveniently always the same person. The one exception being AS4 where they also crowned the looser of the lipsync because they couldn't get away with the lipsync not mattering.

Given that the performance of the queens feed into how the competition wears on them, if Monique was getting all those wins, she could have pulled a Tyra and continue to sew garments. I think one of the biggest things that this over looks is that Mayhem is just not particularly suited to the style of competition that drag race demands of its Queens. I don’t see her making it to the finale, I don’t see her making it much further past her OG elimination, honestly. I would’ve probably seen her go at snatch game, just given how bad she is at improv. As much as you said bias probably didn’t come in to play here, I think that your familiarity with Mayham was probably a little bit too much for objectivity’s sake. But! A great video. I loved hearing your thought process.

For me, I get why Mayhem won, just by the look; you can tell much more with Moniques look that it is made with uncoventional material, and it always looked to me like it was breakingto one side, but it definitely should have been at least high.

I was team dusty and mayhem from the promo but I think aquaria wouldn’t have fallen because the butterfly incident didn’t happen. Apparently aquaria was so shook she collapsed and was thrown into the lip-sync but is she was in the game and had no butterfly incidents I think she wouldn’t trip.

I disagree with Monet winning the Cher Rusical. Was she better in the performance? 100%, I totally agree, but her runway.... I think you didn't take in consideration the runways here. Kameron's runway wasn't amazing, but since she did great in the challenge, the fact that Monet had a bad runway gave her the win. The rest for me was pretty accurate, somethings come down to personal opinions honestly, but I think you made it pretty fair overall.

i really feel like the whole “second finale lipsync never matters” is a little bit rubbish? like Sasha for sure won against peppermint, Yvie for sure beat brooke, and jaida for sureeee beat gigi and crystal the whole narrative that “it always comes down to track records” is just not true because they all decimated their final lipsyncs, the only case that can be made is aquaria lipsync I guess

Only tangentially related, but I just rewatched s10 and remember Eureka’s critiques from Breastworld and as you mentioned they basically said “because we expect so much from you, it was disappointing” which is a critique they frequently give when front-runners fail. It makes me mad when they say that. I wish they’d just say they didn’t do well that week, and not bring their expectations into it at all. Because when they hear that the queen, whoever it is, understandably goes into untucked feeling like they have to compete with impossibly high standards when the truth is that they just didn’t do well that week

Honestly., my favourite time Eureka lip-synced on Season 10 was against Kalorie with "You Got The Best of My Love". You could truly see how much she wanted to stay and prove herself and I felt every word of it! And I agree, even with her tripping (which I still don't see on the final edit tbh), Aquaria still won that lip-sync. :)

Mayhem Miller winning season 10? *Latrice Royale voice* I'm at peace with that. The only things that I would be sad about are not seeing Asia's final look (although she could wear that instead of her finale look, which I did not like), Monet not being the only Miss Congeniality to go on and win All Stars (although that would probably mean that Monique Heart is the Miss Congeniality, and...that's fine with me! As for All Stars and who wins, I think I'll need to see "What if Drag Race All Stars 4 Wasn't Rigged? " first), and we don't get the GIF of Monique Heart and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo looking horrified while witnessing Butterflygate (which...may be a problem). Oh well, looking forward to the UK season 2 videos!
