Ive been taking rejection therapy. Dating sites is a great place to learn rejection. Lol. I've gotten to a place where I can have a conversation with a woman. Ask her for her number. Ask to go for coffee. Get rejected. I dont feel bad when i get rejected now. It feels like freedom.

Thanks for sharing this, Caitlin. Just having you talk about this made me feel a bit better. I know that fear of rejection has always been an issue of mine. And, yes, I know that it's something we all feel but it can be difficult. I think that I have a good relationship with my wife but it is purely plutonic at this point in our marriage. Sex hasn't been part of our relationship for a very long time and I do visit a therapist monthly to address my own issues/concerns. It isn't ideal (at least not for me) but I try to make the best of the situation.

@@davidz3879 It's been a couple of years. And, I take responsibility for part of that due to sexting. She lost confidence and trust. She has no interest in sex any longer and really wasn't very interested in sex for most of our marriage. We don't sleep together any longer but we still have wonderful conversations and enjoy our time together. It may not make a lot of sense to a lot of younger people but after nearly 32 years of marriage, I really can't see myself with anyone else although I do miss (and long for) the physical connection. Life continues.

It took me a whole 25 year marriage to realise anxiety was the problem to my premature ejaculation and occasional non erectile performance. At the age of 45 I discovered a completely new experience within a new relationship, supported with the confidence of the little blue pills. Your factor #1 example is exactly what where I am headed because my wife of 7 years is just constantly rejecting me by rude unnecessary comments and then I end up just feeling like nothing and a burden but if I don't do something like massage her back she ends up belittling m le for not touching her. If you come from a similar place like me do not follow your heart, rather listen to your mind. Though MY mind tells me the "female condition" is one of only various grades of selfish insanity and statistics have a nasty tendency to confirm it, I have yet not given up the hope of one day finding a good woman to complete me. For that is what the symbiotics is all about, it takes both ways. Moral, ethics, karma and respect is the lubes of good life. It takes will, understanding and reasonable leniency of 2 to make it work well.

I don’t fear rejection, I’m married. I have been rejected by my wife more than I have ever been rejected when I was single.
