Tom Lange is the personification of "speak softly yet carry a big stick." A stand up man, respect.

Yes he's very good, has a good memory and an eye for detail. I think his "speak softly yet carry a big stick" approach comes from the discipline of being a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps whilst serving Vietnam, for which he earned a Bronze Star. I hope to see more interviews with Tom Lange.

his comment regarding exculpatory evidence was spot on. they were initially REALLY looking for something exculpatory to clear OJ because literally no one on earth wanted it to be OJ Simpson beloved NFL and move star, to be the killer. literally no one, not even mark fuhrman. unfortunately every single thing pointed to OJ he left a literal blood trail from bundy to rockingham.

@@TZScandal please have Tom on, and let me submit questions, there are so many that i have one specifically. Ask Tom, how he thinks OJ killed them, without having more injuries to his body. Who was the first officer on scene, and why he wasnt called to testify. Who took the kids out oftheir beds and to the police department?
@Romulan2469
@Romulan2469 5 ай бұрын
@@Augfordpdoggie Your first question is a good question. I have never believed in the one killer story with OJ acting alone. He almost certainly had an accomplice, and OJ alludes to that in the book based on the conversations between OJ and Pablo Fenjves. If you look at what OJ did in Vegas, he didn't act alone, he brought all those accomplices with him. There has also been some speculation about the additional shoeprints found at the scene, although some of that was dismissed by FBI expert William Bodziak. Looking at it from Lange's perspective, I'm sure he appreciates that he made some mistakes during the crime scene investigation but I think you will never see him open up to a two suspect theory otherwise that would discredit all of the work he and his partner Vannatter did in single mindedly going after Simpson. You want to know something interesting that adds to a multiple suspect theory? Look at the eyewitness report of Tom Lang (not Tom Lange the LAPD detective), who was never called to testify, he said he saw Nicole Brown embracing a man at the curb of her Brentwood condominium and a white or Hispanic man glowering nearby at about 10 p.m. the night of the killings. Also Tom and his team at the LAPD should have properly investigated the Bill Wasz angle, because Wasz was identified by Burt Luper to have written the diary that documented his stalking of Nicole in the days leading up to her murder. Wasz also told Luper that Kardashian hired him to stalk Nicole, then later said Kardashian tried to hire him to kill Nicole but he refused as he felt they were trying to set him up. I want to know from Tom Lange why he didn't look into the Tom Lang eyewitness testimony and why the Bill Wasz angle was never followed up because those are the keys to properly solving this case.

Not according to Marcia Cork’s book. She was advised not to talk before she went before the grand jury. She not only talked, she appeared on a tv show called Hard Copy, spilled her guts, held up a copy of her subpoena like she had won a spelling bee and accepted $5000.00 for her appearance. She also pulled some other fraudulent deals and was sued and the plaintiff won the lawsuit against her. She was a piece of work.

That jury thought they were doing something good for OJ, their blk hero. OJ turned his back on that community when he left his first wife for a beautiful blonde white girl (18 yrs old) will all his white friends, golfing buddies, neighbors in the whitehood. Marcus Allen was OJ's only blk friend and he was having a hot affair w/ Nicole. OJ only turned to that jury to get him off. What did OJ do? Went straight back to his white world. Or the few that wanted anything to do with him. OJ was blk in skin only.

@@papertags Kato knew who buttered his bread. Marcia Clark bought into the lie about someone bumping against the AC unit that night, and ran with it. Nobody bumped the AC, because that "figure" on the lawn that night was OJ, naked after he gave his bloody clothes to his accomplice before going inside to wash up and change, thus the bloody socks. Kato knew this, as he knew OJ was paying for Nicole's drug bills, and OJ's accomplice that night showed up to collect; Simpson was going to rough up Nicole, except he didn't expect Ron to be there, and both OJ and the bill collector had no choice but to whack BOTH Nicole and Ron. Kato was absolutely the best piece to this puzzle. He hears the three thumbs Simpson climbing over the fence. OJ lied and said he had McDonald’s with Kato, which was not true Kato ate his McDonald’s in his room by himself and the glove OJ’s Italian leather gloves that fit him perfectly. I wish this trial would’ve gone on today. She was a victim of domestic violence, and poor Ron Goldman was in the wrong place at the wrong time Just horrific murders even his own dream team did not believe him. He draws out the best in people and the most information. He is never trying to put the spotlight on him. When he mentions himself it's just in relating a narrative, not to say Look At Me, I'm So Interesting and Smart. He is gifted. Very excellent. Zeller's style is conversational which is not what we want in an interview. Good guy, tho.

It’s written by Some People that the average compensation package for each individual cast member is north of $75,000,000. Minimum !!! As you might know by now, the Kardashians Family lead the Cast members with a compensatory bonus amount approaching $5,000,000,000 . Love Lange and I got the book Evidence Denied. It answered a question I've had. Did the defense get it's half of evidence collected and it did. However, the defense is expected to do it's own tests to keep the prosecution honest. But we never heard a word about the sample the defense got. Did they test it? If not, why not. If tested-which seems like a given--what are the results? I would suggest the defense would only keep quiet if their results were not favorable to OJ. A defendant does not have to incriminate himself, but the failure to reveal results does incriminate OJ.

I’m so appreciative and respectful of Tom Lange. He has life experience from Vietnam and homicide in urban LA, so he has seen much more of human behavior at the worst. He has another keen awareness about situations than the average citizen policeman. I read his book. So much evidence never made it to court. The verdict was a means to an end. In that frame, riots from LA and other major cities would be avoided. I think the prosecution was weak to avail that outcome.

I agree. Zenner just didn't fit. He talks over others; he tries to show how smart he is as if the show is about him. Kato is skilled getting the guest talking and his questions are excellent. He draws out the best. Zenner would be good in other formats and subjects where he is part of the "act." He also seemed antsy, like he wasn't very interested in the guest and was waiting for the chance to jump in with his 2 cents. His style is conversational and I'm not interested in conversation. Something else I never caught before. Tom Lang is saying the blood droplets went right from the Bronco, through the gate, across the driveway and to the house. Wasn't the theory that OJ jumped over the back fence and that is where the thump was heard and the glove was found? That the limo driver said he saw a man come across the driveway into the house. Therefore, if OJ did in fact jump the fence, there would not be blood droplets leading to the front door from the Bronco. Which is it Tom Lange?
@eviehammond9509
@eviehammond9509 4 ай бұрын
After watching this video I went to Reelz & watched Tom Lange's doc about the unused evidence. Not gonna lie. It set me straight on quite a few things. I was 28 back in 1994 & remember the double murder, the Bronco chase & ultimately the trial & verdict. I have lived in Buffalo, NY my entire life & to say that this whole thing was on 99% of our populations' minds would probably still be a huge understatement. My mom, who has since passed, refused to even consider OJ Simpson had any connection to the double murder, much less executing it. It was shocking to hear & see the amount of evidence the prosecution declined to use. After watching & re-watching it I was left with one question. In the working world, we all pretty much answer to somebody. With that in mind, I have to wonder if it was Marcia Clark's personal decision to not use this overwhelming amount of crucial evidence or even some of it at trial or was she "instructed" by someone else who she inevitably answered to? And if so, why? The latter I'm sure could be easily answered considering the multiple issues this trial had pulled in along with it ( race, fame, the LA riot due to the King verdict, etc.). I, unlike my mom believed OJ was either guilty of committing the double murder or at the very least connected to it. I had originally believed it was OJ's oldest son who was a chef at the restaurant that Nicole had canceled at last-minute reservations at instead going to the Mezzaluna. He had a history of having anger issues, etc. While canceling reservations at a restaurant may seem nothing more than an inconvience or minor disappointment to most of us it left me wondering if it could of been a trigger to a much deeper anger in a person already with a past history of controlling his temper. I then theorized if OJ was involved, was it to deflect blame from his son. After seeing this show and the amount of time and effort that was put into collecting & testing evidence I no longer believe this. OJ never had interacted or knew Ron Goldman, so how could his blood end up in OJ's bronco??? The only DNA & blood in OJ's bronco were his own, Nicole's & Ron's. How would the defense ever explain Ron's blood being found in OJ's vehicle if he didn't even know him or ever interact with him ???? For that piece of evidence alone, could have potentially changed the verdict, but they have over 500+pieces of evidence the prosecution declined to use.....WHY???? Maybe the final answer is no amount of evidence would have ever convicted OJ of the double murders of Nicole & Ron. More & more, this is beginning to look like my final theory on this.

@@Romulan2469 Evidence Dismissed is quite good. It filled in some voids. I bought it used on Amazon so very cheap. I found new stuff but it might not be the same stuff you are missing given all the sources around. I particularly recommend Mark Fuhrman's The Murder Business. In a large section, he gives information inside the investigation never reported before and it is stunning. It really explains so very much that has not made sense all these decades. When I entered his name at amazon to see his books, this one did not show up. You have to type in the title to pull it up. Very pricey, tho. See if you can find it somewhere else, or as a digital book. Alas, I read at night right up to falling asleep so forget so much of what I read. But I'm now re-reading The Murder Business to catch more of it, the part about what happened with the OJ case.

17:19 If the 5 cops were there for a "death notification" why would they be seeking information to see if he was part of a crime? Even today that BS story doesn't make sense. BTW in court 4 people, one of which was a detective testified to NOT seeing blood in the Bronco. 19:00 Moreover if you thought OJ was really in danger - why did they think that stopped because they found a glove, Why was OJ the first suspect instead of someone else. What Lange forgets to mention is - BEFORE the criminal trial even began, whistle blowers had already came forth and said Fuhrman planted the glove and police wanted lab techs to alter evidence. THAT'S A FACT even Christopher Darden admitted to. So the question is - WHY aren't those whistleblowers WELL KNOWN like DEEP THROAT in the Watergate debacle? HELL, they're not EVER talked about.
