I remember when we shot the commercial for his first signature shoe. We actually shot it at the crib of the dude who owned Vitamin Water before he sold it to Coke. Jordan Brand had only done 2 pairs prototypes of the shoe. They sent us both pair, one of which Melo was wearing in the commercial the first day. So, its 6am and we are prepping for the second shoot day and the agency says Jordan Brand wants Melo to switch the sneakers. The sneakers are nowhere to be found. Everybody is panicking. We all bout to get fired. We looking around like, "who tf didn't show up to work today?" The MF intern swiped the shoes, headband and a damn jersey. We had to swarm that mfs crib. Oddly enough, I got offered a job with Jordan Brand after that shoot. Still, one of my biggest career regrets in not taking that job .
