Love love love all his movies and him!!! He's an environmentalist, has given us many years of great movies, Sundance and on it goes. The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are golden. He's also VERY GIVING to new filmmakers. I'm one of those very lucky people offered to workshop his first feature 🎥🎬 at the "Filmmaker's Workshop". (Mine was "White Ocean" (not the 'Burning Man' camp) with the talented Quebecious 'Lothiare Bluteau' and the now late 'J.E. Freeman' donating their time to assist me in scenes around the Sundance Utah country property with other first time filmmakers like #quintentarantino (with 'Resevior Dogs') and #tomnonan with his 'what happened was'); both of which later premiered at #thesundancefilmfestival.🎬🎥👏👏👏🇺🇸🙂 The actors I later cast for my 35mm B&W 🎥🎬 the talented: #NatalieKarp, as 'Angela' & #HermasLaSalle as 'Eddie'. & #DennisKingKizer (as 'Claude') whom has sadly passed away 💔😢. I'm very blessed to have had the support of the Sundance Institute staff, #RobertRedford & especially #MichelleSatter & the professionals whom all all made the experience a life changer for me still in 2022).

On the acting side which happens in real life when my 6’4” construction worker boss cousin who has looks like Robert Redford puts me in I have strength like that of 10 men. He gets me up from sleeping in war like conditions, enables me to stand my ground and gives me a surety of rudimentary tools that he wields on a daily basis with his abilities not my own. It only happened when I was far afoot.

Gosh, so many. Redford has such a gentle presence on screen. Very handsome. He makes his roles so real. I like his earlier moves because he was new and dynamic and one didn't know how big he would become. Movies such as The Chase, Downhill Racer, Little Fauss and Big Halsy. Later ones, The Way We Were. The Horse Whisperer. So many! 👏

My mother went to Van Nuys High with both Robert Redford and Natalie Wood. She was friendly with Natalie and knew about her family. All she knew about Robert Redford was that he played baseball.

What I admired about Robert Redford was his seeming unwillingness to seek out the press, the tabloids and fame in general. Most celebrities scream about any donation (pledges too, bc those are the same ) they've made, trouble they've gotten into, rehab stints accomplished and in search of MORE FAME. This screams 'over compensation, and says a lot for the type of person they are.

Butch Cassidy And the Sundance Kid. I was very young but it was a smash hit at the theatre. Times were good in 1969. Redford had me early on as I was a cowgirl at heart. I understood his love of the environment & how he not only shunned Hollywood, he started Sundance Film Festival, a rival of sorts to HW. I cant believe no one else thot to do so. He shunned HW- Hollywood is home to the LBGTQ agenda as most actresses are MtFs (male to female - trannies) & they never believed being gay or a man wanting to be female is a mental disorder- so they formed Hollywood to promote it as normal. Redford & Newman were great friends.
