This is really insightful. It seems once something physical is not quickly found its classified as psychological. Once its called psychological any further investigation of the physical is either a low priority or disregarded completely. Thanks for explaining the theory behind this.

Thank you, thank you for sharing this vital information and truth that I and many others were subjected to of superficial judgements, labels, stigmas and unheard for over 20 years before being diagnosed with EDS.

Wow 22:00 anxiety.., the reason we translate this into other medical language is because it doesn’t associate with stress, ie the symptoms are sporadic and can happen when you know you should be relaxed. Then in other situations where it should perhaps cause us anxiety we sometimes feel absolutely fine, heart rate and breathing etc. I hope this makes sense, but it seems like we experience periods of rapid heart rate and shakiness and although tired we feel wired ie can’t relax. Other times we are experiencing extremely tiredness and fatigue and we know we have slept and eaten well and we are very lethargic. It’s very difficult for people to understand why our symptoms don’t appear to correlate. I’ve been asked if I have anxiety and I answered no and it is not because I’m trying to hide anxiety it’s because I’m trying to explain that I think there’s a difference between a biological cause of these types of symptoms rather than a psychological cause. Unfortunately if there has been psychological trauma also it’s extremely easy to eliminate a potential physical cause such as craniocervical instability or MCAS or dysautonomia. We can be laying down and still have symptoms of rapid heart, pins and needles and pain and we are not sleeping soundly even though we say we have no trouble sleeping anywhere it’s not quality sleep. We virtually sleep with one eye open and are aware if someone enters the room quietly. The symptoms can cause mental stress and sadness and are certainly debilitating psychologically but until we are understood in this way, the person is alienated moreover they never quite feel seen clearly. Thanks so very much for the information and fine words and advice encouragement and hope that we will be better understood very soon. The English was very good Dr Antonio Bulbena and your voice is so comforting to me, very much like my Maltese Pop. I’m not often blessed with the resemblance of his sounding voice but it is indeed a blessing to hear Your voice and hear the resemblance to Him. May you live long healthy years and receive many blessings.

I wish the volume for the speaker was at least as loud as that of the person introducing him...

35:00 😂 my Son says to me “there’s something wrong with Your nose Mum. Because I can smell things from a distance but he doesn’t, my response was to laugh n say “ cause it works? There’s something wrong with it 😂 but it’s hypersensitive. But because I had allergic rhinitis, a fine passage in my nose, cortirization of “extra tissue” or inflamed tissue that made it impossible to breathe through my nose or smell, until after the healing from the operation. I always wrote my sensitive nose off to that’s why. 😂😂😂 but because we can easily feel nauseated by a bad smell and get amazing feelings from good smells like natural oils suitable to us. Music Aromas Animals and nature Sunshine and Love ❤ Good ol TLC
