Tender lovin' Caroline, lol. Also laughing at the idea of Vampire Matt v Werewolf Tyler in a love triangle. But it is one of the foulest jokes (nonetheless, it lands) that Caroline's singing "Eternal Flame" after poor Luka got roasted. I really did find myself wishing she would sing "Best of Both Worlds" in that moment- somehow I never made the connection that Caroline is doing the Hannah double-life. As for Caroline's reveal to Matt, she wasn't in the know when the Vickie stuff was going on, so she really had no idea that Matt had an inkling related to vampires and how bad it would turn out (especially in the frame that even though her mom had an immediately bad reaction, Liz was coming around on it before the compulsion to forget, and Matt wasn't part of any Founder's Council nonsense). It's terrible for the both of them and I'm glad she was able to keep her cool in a pretty awful situation where neither of them ended up physically hurt. Jonas was not wrong for not having faith in these ragtag younger vampires saving his daughter as opposed to Klaus' fellow Original, Elijah. But it is a tragic sequence of events, and it is nice to consider a timeline where instead he became a mentor to Bonnie, and Luka became incorporated in the friend group eventually, and they got to save Luka's sister together. Also, poor Jenna is in for some truths to come tumbling out.
