Is may be bad to think so but listening to Bruce talk about abandoning mankind. About how he forgave humanity but never forgot what they did to his son. From someone having been exposed to a variety of religions this made the most sense in my mind. Fantastic writing. Love this.

The first one in the series is about a historian getting ahold of this priests laptop in the modern day. It contains the "secret archive" and subsequent stories are historical accounts from that archive. Secrets so horrible that mankind would collapse into a feral state.

I do enjoy the Vatican Archives stories, it never fails to give me a bit of a racing heart to hear of such a thing as “God being dead” or of “God abandonment of humanity”, a I think myself a true believer and although this is of course fiction it’s so very well written and spoken(narrated by the best😉) it is enough to just spook me. Wonderful story yet again good Dr.! Looking forward to the next installment!!
